The property was near the centre of St. Helier. It was convenient to walk there. The staff and owner were very pleasant at reception, in the bar and in the breakfast room.
The breakfast was plentiful, the food was of good quality and it was served very efficiently.
The hotel was scrupulously clean throughout.

Beachcombers Hotel is a boutique hotel next to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and Bay of Grouville, and a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the property.

Great hotel, staff and food.
Great hotel, staff and food. Relaxing garden and will bring lunch or drinks out for you. Lovely restaurant and separate bar. Whole place feels spacious and laid back, but spotless and attentive. Unexpected indoor pool. Bus stop nearly outside, good way to see island. (Taxis are expensive!) Nice walk through Golf club to coastal benches. Two pubs and two grocery shops close to hotel. Worth taking bus north to Gorey or further to delightfully tranquil St Catherines breakwater with cafe and ice cream hut. Those who are able can also make the pleasant 1.25mile walk up to one of the many eateries in the lovely port of Gorey. My cousin has a slight mobility problem and found it an excellent choice, with super bathroom - just enough help from a handle next to loo and a seat in the shower to feel safe, yet also feel he was in a tastefully furnished room. Most unusual, kind of understated but very functional. Also subtle ramps to reception and garden from the room.

Wonderful location, great for parking in front of the hotel, which is rare in Jersey. Close walk to Gorey beach with a love shack cafe.
If on holiday easy to get the bus into St Helier a few minutes walk to bus stop runs late. opposire it Gorey village with nice restaurants and local pubs.
I stayed B&B, there is a lounge with dining tables in the hotel and nearby Chinese, fish and chips and can come back and eat at the hotel. I also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine on the roof terrace with several garden tables, very quiet and relaxing for an evening .
The cooked breakfast tasted great and there was lots of fresh fruit and yogurts and other meats and cheese if wanted continental.

On the east coast of Jersey this area has a great beach and lots of picturesque surrounding including the castle dominating the bay.
There is an excellent range of restaurants in the harbour area. When actually staying the bus links into St Helier are very good, frequent and cost effective as well as offering an easy alternative to driving in the traffic, looking for a space or car park and then paying parking charges.

Near to castle, fabulous beach, local supermarket/convenience shop, good bus route options.
Not a wide selection of family restaurants/ options in the village (except for a place called The Ranch which had good range of food options and portions were HUGE).

The Old Bank House Hotel is clean, functional (if a bit dated) with friendly staff. You get a real sense that the Hotel is a family-run business. Dinner was good although only available on Friday and Saturday evenings.
