You could see all the sights within a day. Many Christmas markets, many lights, but not enough events or activities to do as a family (with children).
Great place if you want to get drunk.
Armes aux Strasbourg was the best Alsace restaurant and Le Hache : fast service, kind staff, and amazing food.
It is not easy getting around Strasbourg if you are outside the central Island. Prepare for lots of walking.

The city centre is beautiful during Christmas period, and the crowds are well controlled. Lots of police around the Christmas markets which made us feel safe, especially as the stalls were closing and crowds were exiting. Easy to get around on foot. Be careful walking around outer areas at night as lots of homeless and be careful with belongings & bags for this same reason. Lots of places to eat ( we ate at Sakhang Asian Kitchen one night- very good) & large indoor commercial shopping centre that is well heated in winter. Easy to get to Colmar by train. We went to Cologne from strasbourg, which was easy to do by train too.

We went for the Christmas market, which is simply the best in Europe in our opinion. Good transportation, including Tram and Uber, good food and honest prices in the restaurants. The astronomical clock inside the cathedral is simply a must.

I have fully enjoyed my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Strasbourg Petite France. The room was spacious and clean. The location is very accessible and it was suitable for me as I had to take the bus to the airport early in the morning on my departure day.
The staff is very nice and guest-oriented, always ready to help or guide. Also, I have to mention the breakfast with many options that could meet every guest's preferences. Next time I am in Strasbourg, I'll definitely choose this location!
The hotel is great and 10 minutes by foot from the city centre. The staff is great, speaks perfect English and the checkin went really quick. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfy, the shower is reeeeaally large and if your room is on the right side of the building it offers an amazing view over Strasbourg. Parking garages are also nearby and there is a lot of bars, restaurants etc in walking distance
Arrived by train from Paris and was an easy walk with light luggage to the hotel. Room had a nice view overlooking the street. Wifi was good. TV had a good selection of music. Location was excellent, a few minutes walk away from Petite France area and easy walk to rest of Old Town. Plenty of restaurants around the area.
If you need a really budget place to stay in Strasbourg, this is the one. Not far away from the train station and petite France. The staff was kind and welcoming. The room was small but cosy. For the price I paid the hotel was way better than I expected.
The hotel was in the city centre, very close to Petite France and Notre Damme. In a park, by the river, offered quiet moments and easy access to wherever I needed to go. Clean, spatious room and professional staff, always there to help.
