STAFF AND PRICE WERE OK. THE DESK STAFF HAD NO IDEA ABOUT WHAT WAS ON IN THE CENTRE. THEY COULD NOT SUGGEST A GUIDE. TOLD US TO USE GOOGLE. BY CHANCE WE FOUND AN EXCELLENT GUIDE BY WALKING UP TO ANOTHER GUIDE NEAR THE CATHEDRAL. HE PHONED HER.
I GAVE HER NAME TO THE HOTEL LATER. I SUSPECT IT WENT INTO A DRAWER AND WAS LOST.

The final destination of the Medieval pilgrimage route (El Camino de Santiago), this city is the best place to enjoy fresh fish and traditional Galician bread. Ideal location for Santiago old town. Walking distance to all bars, restaurants, shops and sights. The entrance to the hotel is on a narrow street and the reception on the third floor (lift available). Once in the hotel it is a lot bigger than first impressions. Boutique is a good description. Breakfast was good value but limited choice. Parked motorcycle in nearby pay car park,(Praza de Galicia), about 13 Euros per day, which was undercover and 1 minutes walk away.
Best hotel we stayed in along the Camino Ingles, and a brilliant end to this pilgrimage. A stone's throw from the Cathedral, and all of the attractions. We had the tasting menu at dinner and the quality of the food/wine was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, including ordering the taxi to the airport and waving us bon voyage. Quiet rooms even though close to Santiago's centre.
First you will be welcomed by an very sweet English speaking reception, quite rare in Spain, very clean and highly finished modern rooms. Hotel situated in a quite area close to the market, 5 minutes walk from center, also very well connected with public transport, ideal for those who just completed cammino di Santiago.
This is a nice hotel just outside the old town in Santiago. It was convenient to walking to the Cathedral and a nice place to relax after the Camino. The breakfast was very good and worth the price.
