Great Viking Museum very informative and wonderful location.
Great Viking Museum very informative and wonderful location. Lots of Viking ships. Cathedral was very interesting. Park areas well kept. Good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants. Easy train station to Copenhagen. Altogether a good place to visit.JanetUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010

The trip on the 207 bus from Roskilde to the destination was a great experience. A short 300 hundred metre walk from the stop was very easy and being away from main roads was wonderfully quiet. A great place to stay! Bicycles were also provided and riding was easy.

i went there for work but enjoyed the little perks of the city like the good restaurants (Disotto, Store Bors, Upstaris, Rib House, Halifax burguers, Ilden, Flammen, Cafe A Roskilde) and everything being close.

We went for a little walk around the harbor, it was great, Another day a little tour of the neighboring building was also OK, was up by a small church next door to, but it was locked. The last day we drove out to Superkoi, it was fantastic a really nice exhibition of 3000m2 they had out there, and incredibly nice staff.

It was also close to the Viking Village and Roskilde where we visited the Cathedral and the Viking Ship museum. It was not far from Lejre train station where there is free parking and a train direct into Copenhagen. The Summerhouse was lovely and had everything needed, a real home from home.
