Klotten is a great place to stay and the apartment was nicely located with easy free parking on the street outside. Nice little quiet town where you can enjoy being by the side of the Mosel without the super touristy crowds of Cochem. Very easy access to Burg Eltz, Reichsburg Cochem, and the Calmont Klettersteig, if you have a car - so it made for a very nice base for us to come relax to after adventuring around those areas.AuroraNetherlands

It is located in a building with a lovely terrace where you can have breakfast or dinner from the restaurant. The selection for breakfast is excellent, with fresh cheese and spreads, fresh fruits, and juices. The room was comfortable, however, there was no balcony, like in other rooms. The location is perfect: near the train station and on the bank of the river. The team is very friendly, and, of course, a lovely dog is a great bonus. Would definitely stay there again, if given a chance!IrinaGermany

One might think the location is a drawback compared to Cochem or Bernkastel-Kues, but Klotten is a quaint town to stay in. The train (once per hour) quickly and affordably takes you to other places of interest along the Mosel. I was worried the close proximity to the railway would be noisy, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us. Would visit again!

Breakfast was good and all you needed. Appreciated the safe parking for the motorbikes and one less thing to worry about. Will certainly come again!
