Centrally located, maybe not the best area of the city it but wasn't bad. In front of Union station. Horton's right around the corner for early morning breakfast/coffee. Covered self-parking was around 25(?)/day with direct access to hotel (piper st alley (hard to find) or via wellington). Steak was really good.

We enjoyed Toronto. Loved walking to the Distillery district from the west side of town - saw so much on the way.
The hockey hall of fame complex including the store etc. was great.
We also did a bike tour to the Toronto Islands - would highly recommend this.

We came to Toronto for the weekend to go to the theatre and the Aquarium. We enjoyed both, but once again we were quite shocked by how expensive hotels, parking and meals are. Way overpriced! This weekend cost as much as I paid for my 10 day cruise to the Bahamas last winter! I probably won’t be back to Toronto for long time, there is no value for the money.

i love toronto. so much to see and do, something for everyone. the downtown core has buses, streetcars and an underground train system so it's easy to get around. but it's also very walkable, with lots of access to places nearby.

A vibrant, bustling city that can be visited easily in three days (we had 5 nights there and that was 2 too many). Plenty of things to do. Didn't use the subway system but used Uber for means of transport when we were too tired to walk - really good fares.
A lovely city - not got the dynamism of NY or the chilled feeling in Boston but good nonetheless.

Toronto was a lovely area to visit once you get the hang of how things work. There are plenty of diverse restaurants to choose from. China town was our favorite spot to eat. The Korean food was top notch. There are many parking garages in all different areas, making parking convenient majority of the places you go. Parking ranged from 2-5 dollars an hour. If we could have avoided driving in Toronto we would have. There are so many other ways to travel if you have the time. Buses, subways, trains, Lyft and Uber.

I love Toronto and in the past, had lived there for many years. I have since gone back for weekend getaways for several years. This is my 2nd stay at Doubletree Hilton,108 Chestnut St...5 min from Eaton. The staff is very nice and the hotel is not a luxury hotel but is comfortable. We had supper at Hemisphere. The waiter was a good salesman. The thin steak was not done as requested and the fries were not homemade like the waiter said. The good pinot wine compensated our disappointing meal. On Thanksgiving a lot of restos were closed and this is the main reason we ate and drank at Hemisphere. Even the Sheraton had 2 of their 3 bars closed on Thanksgiving. Around the corner, try the Gyubee Japanese Resto where we enjoyed a meal the night before. It has excellent food, great service and is inexpensive . We left Double Tree after 2 nights and the very nice dining room manager asked us about our food experience. We honestly told him it was a big disappointment. He did not offer us any compensation yet we still liked his caring and sincere attitude as well as the friendliness of all the staff members.

Hotel is very nice and comfortable, including swimming pool and gym. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also good, eggs, bacon, fruits, jogurt...just vegetables was missing. The location is very near the airport so it was easy and fast to get to Toronto Downtown (shuttle to the airport and then by train). On the other hand there was noise from the planes and the surrounding was nothing special. But this is not critics, we were aware of that, just saying.
Second time staying here. The room is small, but what else to expect in such a central location downtown. Enough room to fit two Queen beds, a dresser, a desk, and a small bathroom. Amazing to have the pool -- want to return in the summer for the rooftop patio! Staff were very friendly again, breakfast buffet excellent and cheaper if you book it upon check-in. Will stay here again because it is by far the best value in a downtown hotel I have found.
The location was perfect downtown Toronto. The rooms were meant for students and they were fine as they were, but needed a little paint etcetera, but on the other hand we paid half the price for a room in a normal hotel.
The breakfast was good lots of fresh food and different egg dishes.
I liked how compared to hotel closer to downtown Toronto that are really expensive you can pay less and stay at a way nicer place with everything you need and more. The host was super kind and I definitely recommend it
It is a very large hotel. Location is in Toronto downtown, walking distance to Younge-Dundas Square. Beds were comfortable. View from balcony was great.
