Scott Trench is the CEO and President of BiggerPockets.com. An active real estate investor and licensed agent in Denver, CO, Scott was a fan and member of the BiggerPockets community before joining BiggerPockets as an early employee and Director of Operations in 2014. He was named President and CEO in 2018 and continues to be a passionate real estate investor and personal finance junkie.
Scott is also author of Set for Life, co-author of First Time Home Buyer, and podcast host of the BiggerPockets Money Podcast. He has contributed thousands of posts to the BiggerPockets forums, hundreds of articles to the BiggerPockets blog and other media outlets, and is always eager to share what’s going on in US real estate markets in various external media outlets, which have included the WSJ, Bloomberg, Time, CNBC, and NBC.
Scott graduated from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Economics and History, Corporate Strategy, and Finance.
Aaron Sallade is the Chief Financial Officer at BiggerPockets. He is a seasoned finance, strategy, and operations leader with over 15 years of experience in enabling value creation. Before joining BiggerPockets, Aaron led multiple strategic initiatives and category expansion opportunities at HomeAdvisor. Prior to this role, he held various positions in corporate finance, private equity, and investment banking. He is also an Army veteran who served in both Bosnia–Herzegovina and Afghanistan. Outside of work, he owns a small portfolio of investment properties and enjoys time with his wife and four kids.
Lindsey Buxton is the Sr. Director of Marketing at BiggerPockets. For over a decade, she has been involved in brand, product marketing, and go-to-market campaign planning for startups to Fortune 250 companies. Lindsey lives in Denver with her husband, two daughters, and rambunctious dog.
Scott Weigel is the GM of Lead Generation at BiggerPockets. He joined the company in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the company’s marketplaces. He has spent the majority of his career in business development, general management and marketing leadership roles at notable consumer marketplaces, such as Angi (HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List) and Nolo. He lives in Denver with his wife and three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, the outdoors and traveling the world.
Katie is the General Manager of Publishing at BiggerPockets. As an active investor in real estate with 16 units herself, Katie's passion lies in connecting readers with authors and their expertise to help ordinary people achieve true financial freedom through real estate. Since leading the team in 2017, Katie has grown the BiggerPockets catalog to almost 40 books, won numerous prestigious awards, including the Robert Bruss NAREE and Foreword INDIES awards, and hit #2 on the Wall Street Journal bestsellers list. Outside of work, Katie enjoys managing her short-term rental portfolio of beachside properties, traveling with her family, and skiing. She also currently volunteers on the Editorial Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publisher's Association.
