What is Academic Advising?
Academic Advising is the continual practice of working with your academic advisor and faculty to learn about course and degree requirements, college and CUNY policies, and developing and implementing a plan to meet your academic goals.
You should meet with your academic advisor and a faculty advisor in your major at least once per semester or more frequently if needed.
