Owen Oseni's second-half double helped ease promotion-chasing Gateshead to a convincing win away to Ebbsfleet.
Former Derby forward Oseni struck twice after first-half efforts from Callum Whelan and Luke Hannant had put Gateshead in control.
Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Mark Cousins produced a fine save to deny Hannant's early long-range shot, but Gateshead took the lead with another effort from outside the penalty area from midfielder Whelan.
The visitors doubled their lead via the penalty spot five minutes before half-time, with Hannant converting after Oseni had been brought down in the area.
Oseni then struck twice in six minutes before Tyler Cordner netted a late consolation for Ebbsfleet.
