Manchester Originals: did not bat
No result
No result was possible in the final group game of The Hundred women's competition, between Birmingham Phoenix and Manchester Originals, because of rain at Edgbaston.
Both teams were out of contention for the play-offs before the game began and only 70 balls were bowled before the downpour.
Phoenix were well-placed at 98-2 with Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry unbeaten on 45 from 39 balls.
England bowler Lauren Filer had earlier pinned opener Sterre Kalis lbw for 18 and seamer Phoebe Graham dismissed Fran Wilson for 14.
After a winless 2023, Phoenix have improved to win three games in this year's Hundred but still only finished seventh in the table.
Originals have also struggled for consistency, winning three and losing four to finish above Phoenix only on net run-rate.
What happens next?
The Hundred eliminators take place on Saturday.
Two-time winners of the women's competition, Oval Invincibles, face London Spirit at The Oval at 14:15 BST.
The winner will meet Welsh Fire in the final at Lord's on Sunday.
