Bristol’s part in 150 million year old discovery
The Fossil of a Pliosaur was discovered with help of Bristol Uni scientists.
A new programme from David Attenbrough called “Attenborough and the Giant Sea Monster” was made in Bristol and tells the story of its discovery.
Dr Judyth Sasoon is a Pliosaur expert from the University of Bristol.
Paleontologist Steve Etches led the efforts to remove and recover the fossil from the cliff face - he's speaks to our Science Editor Rebecca Morelle.
