Have Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally found their forever home? As first reported by TMZ, the answer to that question—following nearly two years of house hunting—is yes. The superstar couple closed on a residence in LA’s Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood, paying $60.9 million dollars in cash, according to the publication’s sources. This comes after the newlyweds entered into and pulled out of escrow at least on three different occasions while searching for the perfect love nest.

With its stripped down, contemporary take on Georgian style, the house’s balance of classic and modern aesthetics seems to be just what the duo were looking for. The enormous abode spans 38,000 square feet and sits on a 5.2-acre promontory, prime positioning for mountain views. The 2000-build, which saw massive renovations at the hand of developer Gala Asher in 2017, was once touted as “the most expensive home ever sold in Los Angeles County if it reaches its asking price of $135 million.” That figure is a far cry from the price Bennifer paid for the estate, so it’s safe to say the couple lucked out and the house didn’t break any price records.

There’s an indoor sports complex where they can play pickleball, workout in the gym, go a few rounds in the boxing ring, or simply lounge about at the sports bar. Other resort-like amenities include a spa room, massive home theater, multi-seat hair and nail salon area, wine and whiskey rooms, and manicured lawns surrounding the partially above ground 155-foot infinity pool. Also on the property is a guest penthouse, caretaker house, two-bedroom guardhouse, and a 12-car garage sitting across the driveway from the main house.

The couple’s last two failed attempts at home buying took place in SoCal’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood, which is where Affleck previously lived with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their kids. Affleck moved into a massive East Coast-style mansion soon after they divorced, but has since sold the pad. Garner and the kids moved on to a Brentwood home, which the Alias actress built from the ground up.
