Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are keeping themselves busy—real estate–wise—throughout the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The power couple recently paid $40 million for a waterfront mansion on Miami’s exclusive Star Island, TMZ reports, less than one month after listing a Malibu beach house they purchased from Jeremy Piven last year. Their new property measures a sprawling 14,762 square feet, and features 10 bedrooms and 10-and-a-half bathrooms. Given that they worked with Chip and Joanna Gaines to renovate and then promptly flip their Malibu home, it’s unclear whether the superstar pair have purchased the Star Island estate to move into or as an investment property. Regardless, the mansion is outfitted with all the amenities of a celebrity-grade home, with a grand living room comprising a stately carved-mantel fireplace, an industrial-style chef’s kitchen, a wine room, a wood-paneled library/den, and an elevator to carry residents and guests between levels. Stone floors and Venetian plaster walls throughout help to further boost the place’s overall aesthetic.

The main suite on the second floor has its own sitting room, an office, and two large terraces with bay views, in addition to a luxurious bathroom with a cavernous onyx-and-glass steam shower, custom spa-style tub, and walk-in closet. Out back, the home features a large infinity pool illuminated by green and blue lights at night, an attached hot tub, a covered bar area, and a cabana bath. Towering palm trees line the path to a private 100-foot-long wood dock and access to the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Lopez and Rodriguez have reportedly been spending their pandemic lockdown at Rodriguez’s Coral Gables, Florida, home, and the pair maintain a number of properties spread across the country, including a Bel Air mansion Lopez bought for $28 million in 2016, a Manhattan penthouse that the actress has had on the market since 2017, and, most recently, a single-story Encino, California, family home that the pair purchased for $1.4 million earlier this summer.
