Tyrese Haliburton records three assists in limited minutes as Team USA cruises past Serbia

Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton saw limited minutes Wednesday with Team USA adding late addition Derrick White into the mix, but Haliburton recorded three assists to help the US cruise to an impressive 105-79 win over Serbia and NBA MVP Nikola Jokic in a Team USA Showcase Olympic warm-up game in Abu Dhabi.

The Americans go from Abu Dhabi to London to play South Sudan in another exhibition on Saturday at 3 p.m., and then another on Monday against Germany. They begin Olympics group play in France on July 28 against Serbia.

Haliburton missed his only field goal attempt in 14 minutes and 23 seconds. He also grabbed a rebound and a steal and Team USA was +9 in his minutes.

Stephen Curry led the US with 24 points on 8 of 13 shooting, including 6 of 9 from 3-point range. Heat center Bam Adebayo scored 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. MInnesota's Anthony Edwards scored 16 points. LeBron James scored 11 points on 5 of 7 shooting. Anthony Davis scored seven points on 2 of 2 shooting and grabbed six rebounds while blocking six shots.
