'Twisters' Is Touching Down! Here's How You Can Stream the Movie

Twisters is taking the country by storm... literally!
The disaster thriller, which is a standalone sequel to the 1996 hit Twister, has proven to be a blockbuster of its own! The film blew audiences away during its debut, grossing $81.25 million for the third best opening of the year in North America. Not to mention, that's the largest opening weekend ever for a disaster movie (in unadjusted terms).
The new film stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos as storm chasers and meteorologists who are working desperately to figure out a way to tame a devastating tornado outbreak in Oklahoma. Yes, Oklahoma... as in the home of Ree Drummond! (So, if you plan a trip to Drummond Ranch in Pawhuska, you might even make a pit stop to some of the areas across the state where filming took place.)
And for those who embraced the storm in theaters and now need to see it again and again—well, Twisters is now spinning on your screen, too! Keep reading to learn how you can watch Twisters at home.
How can I watch and stream the 'Twisters' movie?
Twisters just hit theaters on July 19, but the cinematic whirlwind is already available to touch down in your own home! It's currently available to watch digitally on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, Vudu, Google Play Movies, and YouTube TV & Movies. You can purchase the flick for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99 (for rentals, you'll have 48 hours to finish once started).
Since Twisters is produced and distributed by Universal Pictures, it will eventually stream on Peacock as well. As for a timeline, the movie will likely be available for streaming 90 days after the theatrical release date, or sometime around late September or October 2024.
