Hmmm, we think that Prince likes belly rubs, but we can't be sure. Video of his mama giving the Pocket Bully some pets has gone viral on the internet and people are tickled by the adorable noises the Bully made.

Prince was totally loving the attention his mom was giving him in the video she shared. How could she resist that little face?

It's not everyday that you hear a dog purr. But we don't know how else to describe the noises Prince was making in the footage his owner shared online. You know the Pocket Bully was having a blast because his little tongue was sticking out the entire time. So much eye contact! He definitely never wanted his mom to stop. We know that every time his mom gives him scratches, he falls a little more in love with her.

The Bully's reaction had people cracking up online. "I literally thought he was a stuffed animal," joked one commenter. "The tongue sticking out is so cute he’s a lil baby, lol," someone else wrote. "Zero percent thoughts, 50 percent tongue," teased one commenter. While another person could absolutely relate: "I know that face and noise. My bully Rosie looks and sounds like that during belly rubs. Every time. So cute," they wrote.

Why Do Dogs Like Belly Rubs?

It's not just Prince who loves belly rubs, almost all dogs really dig it. But why? It's not like all the dogs got together and agreed that they were going to demand belly rubs from their humans.

There's not a lot of scientific research into the mystery of why dogs love when we rub their bellies, but the best answer that experts can come up with is that belly rubs are another way that humans connect with their dogs. It's just another form of love for dogs — they love it because they love us.

There are some dogs, however, who don't love belly rubs. Dogs that are bred to be guard dogs tend to not love the gesture and can sometimes see it as an act of aggression.

You'll know when a dog wants you to run their belly when they roll over onto their back, with their tongue out, and eyes wide open. If they looks tense or scared, it could be a sign of submission more than an invitation for a pet.

Obviously, Prince's mama doesn't have anything to worry about. The pup would surely take a belly rub at any time — morning, noon, or night.
