'GMA' Fans Say Robin Roberts Is "The Best in the Game" as She Reveals Career Milestone
Robin Roberts has a lot to celebrate lately.
Back in 2014, the Good Morning America news anchor announced she'd founded a production company called Rock'n Robin Productions. Taking pride in producing projects that highlight emotional storytelling, Robin's business has been able to make programming that reaches audiences both domestically and around the world. What's more, some of her projects have been seen on major U.S. channels like ABC, National Geographic and Disney+.
A decade after Robin decided to create a new mode of telling stories for herself, she went on Instagram on September 3 to celebrate the day she launched Rock'n Robin Productions. Posting a side-by-side photo of her sitting in the same chair she sat in for a photoshoot way back when, she shared her feelings about what the last 10 years have meant to her.
"It was 10 years ago, September 2014, that Rock'n Robin Productions launched with a focus on storytelling that captivates, connects, and inspires audiences around the globe," she wrote in the caption. "All month we will be celebrating the talented artists, hidden figures and remarkable thrivers with whom we share this milestone."
Upon learning of Robin's emotional career milestone, many of her followers rushed to the comments to celebrate the occasion.
"👏🏾🎬 The best in the game," one person passionately wrote. "Congrats Robin! You are an incredible story teller. Keep inspiring us all! 💕💕💕," another penned. "Congratulations! Beautiful stories still to share with you and the world. 🎉," a different follower added.
Well, this is something Robin can be proud to celebrate! As for what kinds of content she loves to produce, well, she gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her Daytime Emmy Award-nominated series Turning the Tables (streaming on Disney+) with a quick video on Instagram on September 4.
"Here's a special behind the scenes look of our @disneyplus Emmy-winning Turning the Tables Talk Show," she wrote. "Such wonderful conversations with amazing women. Grateful to them and the most talented team behind the cameras!!"
