Another celebrity is getting married in RI today. Keep your eyes peeled for some Olympians.

NARRAGANSETT – Looks like another Rhode Island celebrity is getting married in the Ocean State this summer.

Olympic medalist and Saunderstown native Elizabeth Beisel is set to marry Jack Nichting today at Bonnet Shores Beach, according to their wedding website.

Could the celebration attract some famous guests, perhaps fellow Olympians such as Katie Ledecky or Missy Franklin (yes, she's here, according to her Instagram), or even some reality TV stars?

You see, Beisel notes that she met her betrothed in Fiji after 30 days of not showering and not brushing her teeth – a nod to the pair's time competing on the reality TV show "Survivor" back in 2019. She says she "tricked" Nichting, who works for USAID, according to his LinkedIn, into moving to Rhode Island, but joked that he's now the unofficial "mayor of Newport" and knows more people here than she does.

Like true Rhode Islanders, the lovebirds have included on their wedding website some suggestions for great spots for their guests to eat during their stay in Rhode Island. Nichting, who according to the site has also worked in the local service industry for years, recommends places like Matunuck Oyster Bar (where the couple celebrates every anniversary), Perro Salado in Newport, and even Frosty Freez in Middletown.

Beisel has already had a busy summer, having worked as a correspondent for NBC covering the Paris Olympics. And she joins fellow Rhode Islanders who have tied the knot here this summer − Olivia Culpo, who wed San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey in June at a star-studded affair at the Ocean House in Westerly, and Billy Gilman, who married Anthony Carbone last month.

Could Taylor Swift be next? She's already got the perfect spot in Watch Hill.
