I seriously can't say enough about Daniel's Pacific Coast Services repair service. I found him on Angi in an emergency situation early in the morning and he was fixing my washer within hours. I needed to call him out for another issue, and again, he was prompt in communicating and very punctual. i want to be very honest about this review. I called this company listed in the Neighbor to Neighbor book that came to my mailbox. I figured since there was only 1 appliance repair listed that they had done the "homework" for me......not so Technician Mike showed up during scheduled time... that was all the good news i have for them. $60 later, he couldn't find the model on my old Whirlpool stove and gave me an estimate so "out there" based on the fact he couldn't find the model #. He also had an attitude which does not help transactions go smoothly and spoke to my husband and I as if we were idiots when i asked him to explain something to us. I am disappointed and out $60. Oh and his parting words ---If i can find the model # they can come back and repair it based on what they find and --oh---i'll get the $60 applied to labor----r u kidding me?????show more

My dryer was not heating up so I called American West Appliance, the company I had found on Angie's List last year. They came out within 3 hours of making my call. They offered 30% discount on labor and replaced gas valve coils within 30 minutes. Prompt arrival, efficient use of time, easy to work with, more-than-fair price. Excellent. This is the 3rd time I have had Oscar out to work on my machines. I have a 4 unit building and each has a set of Whirlpool Duet washers and dryers. This time I called Oscar it was for a washer I have not had any problem with before but it started leaking badly when draining and it wasn't coming from the front door or the drain hose itself. I was afraid the pump itself was bad so I called Oscar and we set up a time for him to come out which he did exactly as planned. He quickly found the leak and fortunately it was not the pump but he did have to order the part. It only took a couple of days and once he got it he came out the next day and fixed it and it is working perfectly again. I find him to be extremely reliable, honest and very fair on his pricing of the work being done. I have recommended him to others based on the service he has done for me in the past and I will continue to do soshow more

Chuck has repaired our stackable washer in the past. When our dishwasher stopped emptying water we didn't hesitate to call Spears. Chuck is always cheerful and courteous. Chuck was very respectful and honest when quoting the price for the repair. We asked if we should repair or replace the dishwasher. He was thoughtful, inspected the condition and age of our dishwasher, and got a quote for the part and labor before answering. We described what we needed in a dishwasher -- just wash the dishes on a normal cycle and occasionally pots and pans settings. He told us a dollar range that we should spend for a reliable dishwasher and mentioned some manufacturers. We decided to repair our existing dishwasher. The dishwasher pump had to be ordered and Chuck returned about 10 days later. He replaced the broken pump in less than an hour. He verified the dishwasher was fixed and didn't leak. He mopped up water from the kitchen floor and from under the kitchen sink. We've had the pump replaced by a different repair service in the past that used a part manufactured outside the US. Spears used a Whirlpool factory certified part made in the USshow more

I noticed that at the end of each cycle my clothes were coming out soaked in water, 4 weeks later it stopped spinning. I called At UR Service and within a couple of hours I had someone on my door, which I was very happy since it was Sunday. He preceded to check and diagnosed the problem with my washer in minutes, He asked if I wanted a new or a refurbished clutch, gave me a price for both. I went for the new part, he replaced it and runned the washer before he left to showed me how good it would work ( he even leveled the washer and gave me a few tips) he cleaned after himself and that was my experience with AT UR Service. The touch pad on my oven gave error messages. I called them and got a one day response time. Andrew replaced one of two suspected parts, hoping to save me money. The oven worked; 2 days later it stopped working. I called and he was back with the other part which he installed without charging add'l labor for the trip. Now things are working fineshow more

I called at 1 pm. They said they were very busy,but would squeeze me in that afternoon,between 4-7 pm. At 4:30, Vitaliy arrived, explained everything to me and put in the new Whirlpool disposal. Took about 45 minutes. He cleaned everything up after the installation and left. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Wow! What a good job. I have used them before and will continue using them.
