4 Season Remodeling & design was the easiest contractor company we’ve ever worked with. Jacob was very responsive and helpful. Received a call back within a couple of hours after contacting him and his crew could start the following week. We were in need of designing a new pool (now that we are home because of COVID), hardscape, landscape stucco work, and outdoor kitchen. His crew was efficient, thorough, and professional. Working with Irit and Raul and their team was a dream. From beginning to end, they treated our pool build as if it they were doing it for themselves. They took meticulous care with our property, including making it possible for our dog and toddler to continue to safely use the yard throughout construction, and cleaning dust and debris from the site daily. Their attention to detail was evident from the very beginning, when they cleaned up permit filing errors made by our previous contractor and engineer. They provided clear and accurate estimates and cost breakdowns. Their team showed up reliably 5 days a week (and sometimes Saturday’s!) and there was visible progress made every single day— it was clear they were moving along efficiently, and when Raul walked us through nuts and bolts of the process, we saw that he was doing the highest quality of work (even the company we eventually hired to maintain the pool commented on how well it was built!). We started the pool build intending to do the landscaping at another time, but we saw quickly that Irit’s expertise would elevate the whole project, and contracted Aqua Care for landscaping as well. It all started with Corey and his design team. We knew we wanted a pool, but really had no idea about design. He and his team helped us design the pool and had everything designed & finalized within one and a half hours. They were patient and professional and the design was perfect for our space. Julian took over on the construction of the pool. His team did a great job and Julian suggested a few design tweaks that made our pool truly special. The natural rock waterfall is AWESOME!! and the slight change in the design of the pathway to the outdoor shower made our yard look truly spectacular! We couldn't be happier with our pool! The job was completed on time and both Corey and Julian were always available for all our questions or concerns. There were no requests that were not honored; they never said "No" to anything that we asked to be done. I checked other pool construction companies in Bullhead City and was completely unimpressed! We are so happy we chose to use Mohave County Pools and Spas out of Havasu City. It was definitely worth it to have them come to Bullhead City from Havasu. We would highly recommend themshow more

After buying my hillside home in Silverlake, i wanted to put in a pool and met with half a dozen or so pool contractors to make sure and do it right. The fact that the house was on a hill made me nervous. At least until I met Bernard at Avanti Pools. There was not even a close second in my mind or that of my secretary/assistant who met with even more contractors, vetting them before I sat down with the top six or so choices. Bernard was the perfect combination of easy-going and incredibly confident and competent. What felt sure to be an intense process actually turned out to be remarkably pleasant. They hit all of their benchmarks in terms of time frame, dealt with the city and permitting process easily and finished on time and even maybe a little early even though I was pushing them to hurry because the summer was coming up.I Not only that, Avanti was the cheapest bid to boot. Finally, Bernard was artistically and aesthetically terrific as well and I deferred to him on many choices from plaster and tile color to decking options. I ended up with one of the nicest pools I've ever seen (and many others agree). Virtually everyone who comes over comments on the pool and backyard and I have recommended Bernard and Avanti many times since and my friends have all been similarly pleased with their service. Trig Builders gets my high score for being so skilled, honest and professional during the entire pool construction that we recently had at our house. We always talked about getting a nice pool, but we needed to have specific requirements before starting the work. We met in person twice ,he took me to a pool he had done. I spoke to the owner of that pool, he had only good things to say the pool contractor Rick Willinsky. Rick came up with the design and the contract. Two days later he started digging my pool! He communicated every step and email pictures of his progress. He started about Sept 7 and was finished with signed off permits on Oct 29th. I strongly recommend American Heritage Pools . Bravo to Rick Willinsky job well doneshow more

We’ve used 4 Season Remodeling & design for two projects 1 year apart. The first time we hired them, it was for a full back landscaping project - design, irrigation, plantings. Jacob did an amazing work, kept to the promised (upon) budget and finished the entire project as scheduled. We loved the yard and received many complements. This year we decided to build a new pool, which required all new landscaping work. This time around, in addition to having design, irrigation and planting needs, our ideas included fencing, benches, BBQ island as well with slopes and varying elevations. Jacob was amazing and he pulled all of our ‘preferred’ and ‘want’ into a stunning design plan that met our budget and Jacob and his team executed the design perfectly. Swink Creations performed excellent work and was very customer centric, responding to requests and changes quickly and following through on commitments. I was overwhelmed with the design requirements of this job, given their complexity and scope. Mark brainstormed the design elements and made many changes, largely creating the central design elements without requiring a separate landscaping designer. The design work was excellent. We had a few errors at the end of the project, however, to Mark's credit, changes were made to correct issues and solve problems. The project was not perfect but truly excellent. Overall, Mark Swink was exceptional, trustworthy and an excellent communicator. I would recommend Mark and his team and use them again on future projectsshow more

I originally sought an estimate for an already designed oasis. I did so without any intention of putting in the pool and spa while my husband is deployed in Afghanistan. However the estimate came back a lot lower than we thought it would. The salesman Jim estimated that this "cost could increase 5-10% if we waited" for later in the year and somehow convinced me it would be an easy and low stress process. This couldn't be further from the truth. Although I was originally very pleased with the level of customer service in the beginning, it really was just a show. Jim really deserves an academy award for his salesmanship. In combination with their years in business and BBB standing, I thought we chose the right company. Once the contract was signed however and the work started, it was a nightmare from start to painful finish. My first warning sign was when the surveyor tried to solicit me for his friend who sells long term care insurance. It went down hill from there. At some point between excavation and the plumbing, I had a 7ft fence post magically disappear. After the plumbers came out I had a brand new rain gutter look like someone took a golf club to it and my beautiful brand new polished cement with imbedded glass capped planter wall had 6 chunks taken out of it. Although they did eventually repair all the damage of the desecration to my property and did reimburse us for the fence post. The drawing that they had me sign off was incorrect so of course I didn't realize they had the pool equipment 2mm from the walkway and the monstrosity was visible from every relaxing point in the back yard and ruined the entire chi of the design. So Carl comes out and rubs it in my face that I signed off on the drawing, even though their drawing was inaccurate which let me to believe the equipment was right where I wanted it. At first he quoted me $300 to move it but then it changed to $400. I was concerned about work being done while I was out of town but both Carl and the mason assured me that there would be no issue with putting in the stone coping. When I returned they had installed two different colored stones; the mason, Carl and Cecil all tried to convince me that it was "natural stone variation". I know about stone variation and this was not; even the clerk at stone yard agreed with my assessment. Swan Pools agreed to replace the stone and then as a result, two weeks went by with NO work being done on our pool. When the county inspector came out for the inspection prior to the water placement, we FAILED the inspection! There was a laundry list of corrections including: installation of the wrong (and cheaper) valve on the pool filler, less than the required 10 feet between the power lines and pool level and the icing on the disaster cake is the pool equipment location made the required fence barrier climbable! The inspector stated "they should've known better than to place it there". By this time I had already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and refused to pay the $400 for the equipment move, which they didn't end up charging me anyway after the failed inspection. So Carl stated that he thought the outer fence was going to be the code. Little late for that, not to mention I explained this to Jim when he first surveyed the property. So both Carl and the plumbers comment that we got the hard nosed inspector- to the contrary I was glad that the inspector did his job and was frustrated, yet again, with Swan Pools that they tried to skirt code issues. The contract stated that the pool would be completed "approximately 8 weeks from the dig". Jim explained that this would allow for things out of their control, e.g. weather. He didn't bother to warn me that it would actually take 17 weeks because of their lack of communication, shoddy work and ineptitude. The pool looks nice and my husband is enjoying it upon his return but stress of this process was not worth it. I'm not sure how this company gets even a decent ratingshow more

From our initial meeting with Joe & Eli from SES builders… we knew that we were dealing with a experienced, qualified and skilled team of people who could bring our dream pool into a reality. Everyone who was involved at our project really listened to our ideas and vision while their new design of how the new pool will look like was much more improved compare to our original concept. Joe is a wonderful project manager who managed an expert team and kept us completely informed in regards to the progress of the work and made all the adjustments hassle-free. Our new pool was completed within our budget and a little bit before the promised time and we truly enjoyed contributing in the makeover of our back yard. We worked primarily with Albert Jr., though we also worked with Albert Sr. on several occasions. Both were extremely pleasant to work with and very professional. The fact that this is a family-owned business shows through in many ways. The service is very personal and responsive, and we had a single point of contact (Albert Jr.) throughout the entire project. Beginning with the design process, Albert Jr. was very helpful in steering us to features and materials that helped keep us fairly close to our budget (though we realized early on that we had significantly underestimated what such a project would cost and adjusted our budget accordingly). In particular, he helped us avoid materials that would have totally blown our budget. His design sense was very helpful in assisting me and my partner to reach agreement on several design aspects on which we initially disagreed. He also made it a point to be on-site every day on which significant activity was occurring. Albert Jr. handled all of the permit issues, which were a bit more unknown as our home is located on tribal land. After determining that the tribe and not the city had jurisdiction, he walked the paperwork through the tribal building department and was always on-site for the periodic inspections. In addition to constructing our spa, Melos also installed a paver patio and an extensive underground drainage system in our courtyard to keep us in compliance with the requirement to divert all drainage from our lot to a particular direction. Both of these aspects of the project were designed and constructed in a very satisfactory manner. In addition, the crew applied appropriately colored paint to the various pipes and electrical conduits that were visible around the pool equipment. Our questions were always answered in a reasonable, understandable manner, and the few small change orders we had during the project were handled without any hassles. Once we were in the startup mode, both Albert's were very responsive to the minor questions and issues that typically arise in a complex project like this. Also, there were some minor issues that showed up after a couple of weeks of use (corroding screws and some minor grout repairs), and they were promptly taken care of. Finally, because the salinity was too high, they came back about a month after start up to drain some of the water and replace it with fresh to lower the salinity. In initially getting estimates from Melos and two other companies, Melos stood out for the quality of their initial contact with us and lived up to our expectations in every way.
