The Pool Guys (April and Tim Mullin) were both competant and easy to work with. They closely monitored every stage of the project: glass-beading the tile, chipping-out the old plaster, applying the new plaster, and start-up procedures. They are fabulous and the owner lives close. They are very responsive to your call. I just had my pool re plastered due to fire damage and they have done a beautiful job maintaining the pool since that was done. They did give a notice when they had to change the schedule due to a vacation they were taking and they were handwritten and I was also told if there was an emergency to go ahead and callshow more

We were given a detailed estimate and a number of options. The estimate was below other estimates we had received. They showed up on time, worked closely with other tradesmen we had hired (The kiln required a firebrick wall behind it) and completed the work as scheduled. They are excellent. They use minimal chlorine and they keep the pool with excellent water quality. They are fast but thorough and they are very consistent; they have never missed a week. They are very helpful when major repairs are needed. I had guests for Labor Day weekend and the heater on the pool broke but they had someone provide a new heater from the warehouse even though it was closed. There were no negative aspects to the experience, I would definitely recommend him and we will try his regular service if we close on the house. David came out for an estimate while I was still in escrow on the house. I told him my approximate closing date and when I would like to have the pool removed. I called after closing to make the appointment and he told me I was already on the schedule. He came out a few days before demolition to go over how much decking I wanted removed and to drain the pool. His crew arrived on schedule and began work. It was completed within 3 days. They obtained all necessary permits and compaction reports. There was a section of pool wall that I wanted taken down more and they accommodated me on the spot. Since the existing decking was old, there were many existing cracks that were hard to work with (I wanted only a portion of the decking removed) so when a small area of decking was accidentially removed that I had wanted to keep, the crew filled it in with new concrete. The motor on our spa had died. In addition, it was taking over an hour to heat. We didn't want to throw the Spa away and replace it, mostly out of environmental concerns. We found Turbo Spa Repair in the phone book and Jim came out to give us an estimate. He suggested that we get rid of the separate heater for the spa and hook it into our pool's filtration and heating system. This would eliminate the need for emptying and refilling the spa, something we were doing monthly with a hose and a bunch of towels, an onerous process. On the first try, we had two problems. First, the valve was not closing all the way and the spa would slowly overflow or drain, depending on where you set the valve. Second, the spa access door would not close. Jim came over three times on his own time and ordered and installed commercial quality valves to ensure that the problem was solved. He took care of everything and left the spa in great shape, much more convenient to use as wellshow more

I had used these folks years ago for monthly maintenance but due to financial situation at time decided to do the monthly stuff myself. Now that I needed some big help I had called other providers listed on Angie's sit. They didn't want to come out to my location, which is about 15 miles outside town. Found his number in my files and while he doesn't provide monthly out my way anymore, he was more than happy to help me with the major stuff. Came out, assessed the problem, did a great job on doing and making it look right. It was worth the extra I probably paid as he was responsive and did a great job. Because this heater was old and used, it recently started leaking gas. Jeff came exactly when he said he would, cleaned my pool heater for free and diagnosed the problem for free. He didn't want to charge me because he told me it that the Heat Exchanger was very corroded and basically "shot". There was also a gas leak in a part I cannot recall. Bottom line? He said the heater was beyond repair and not to bother trying to fix it. He bid me farewell and offered to put in a bid for a new heater when I was ready. I just know that when we're ready to replace it, Jeff will be our guy because we trust that he will charge us a reasonable price so that he can make a living and that he will do a great job! The team was great. Notified every morning by email who would be there and their scope of work. Everyone was courteous and respectful of my home (like double checking the pool gate was closed when they left for lunch or every day, I have a little one, very important!). They kept things clean as they went along and did a final clean at the end. One of the crew noticed some material got on the RV in the driveway somehow and went back to his truck, grabbed a rag and cleaned it up! Loved this company!show more

Everything I was promised was done in an efficient and impressively professional manner. I was astounded by the skill these guys had. I spent a lot of time watching because they were such artists of their mediums! Everyone showed up when expected, and if there was a delay, I was notified. Communication was perfect. Workmen were on time, cordial and amazing. They had a lot of sub par previous construction to work around and with and they did such a nice job. We now have a wonderful, functional yard where we had once had a mess! I would not hesitate to give anyone rave reviews about our experience. Thank you Mark.
