Returning from our vacation, we found out that mice have invaded our home. We immediately looked for ways how we could exterminate this problem. Neighbor gave us a referral and we called Kilter. Came on time and took a look around the kitchen where I thought the problem was. He then went to our California basement and located the areas where the mice were likely living. Since my husband and I aren't squeamish about baiting and removing traps, he said that it wouldn't make sense for us to pay them to do what we were more than willing to do ourselves. Very honest and extremely helpful in showing me how and where to set the traps and prevent the mice from entering the house. I think Green Termite and Pest Control did a thorough job of inspection and sealing the house. They came back the next day and replaced weather stripping that they had just installed because it had been chewed through overnight. Then they came back to remove the trap once the rat was caught. Did thorough search, both inside and out. Found possible entry points in garage and upstairs in wall near dishwasher. Suggested various traps and configurations. Excellent !! Was called by Leah at Stealth Environmental Pest Management, as I requested through Angie's List. Leah was very pleasant to speak with, very knowledgeable about their services and immediately set up an appointment for Trevis to stop by, inspect my home (inside, outside, attic and under the house) for possible mice infestation, set snap traps and estimate cost of repair work that might be needed. Trevis arrived at the scheduled appointment time, fully identified himself, was clean and wore covers over his shoes inside the house. Trevis is very knowledgeable, considerate and takes time to explain everything he is doing. After thorough inspection of house, Trevis set 6 snap traps and 2 rat traps. He wrote up the repairs that would be needed and said that a full estimate would be sent to me by e-mail. The next day Leah sent me the estimated e-mail for repairs needed to my outside lower foundation vent screens, under house crawlspace access screen, installation of a chimney fire arrestor and sealing of two roof top flashings. This was all done very professionally and with consideration for my disabled wife and two dogs. I will move forward with the repair work in a couple of weeks, as I want to see if any mice are caught in the snap traps and rid them out of the inside of the house (2 days after snap traps set, one mouse was caught--still looking)show more

I called them Friday after finding mouse poop under my kitchen sink. The woman who answered the phone was very courteous and helpful. The earliest appointment we could schedule was the following Tuesday. I wish that they could have come earlier, but apparently it's mouse/bug season. We actually caught two mice over the weekend with standard traps, but I still wanted the exterminators to come and let us know how the mice were getting into our house. The two men who came were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with their ability to find indications of mice activity. The identified the most like placed of entry based on prints, scuff marks and poop in the general area of the water heater. They sealed up the possible entry points told me what to do to close up others that they couldn't seal. They also went through a pantry where I found one mouse and made sure that no more were lurking there. It was such a yucky, gross feeling to know that mice had been in my pantry. Finally, they set traps in various places. So far, nothing set off their traps, so I am hoping that the two we caught earlier were the only ones that got into my houseshow more

I never thought the day would come wherein I would call a pest control company. Apparently, all our efforts to prevent mice failed because we constantly saw mice creeping down the kitchen hallway. They came and inspected the entire house for mice! They laid bait and explained mice biology and how to truly prevent them. I recommend Kilter. Marco came over, looked at the walls, house exterior, entry points, and mouse poop around the edges of the rooms and determined that I probably had one single mouse living in the house. He said I could go to the hardware store, spend a couple bucks on mouse traps, and get rid of the creature myself. I very much appreciated his honesty; he could easily have charged me for rodent removal. I bought the traps, braced myself, and indeed, caught the mouse. It was not as disgusting and traumatizing as I expected, although in the interest of keeping it real I'll tell you that it was moderately horrifying and I did involuntarily scream at one point. But at least this horror was free, and the mouse is gone. I'd hire these guys, who seem to be both nice and honest, in a heartbeat if I ever need more extreme rodent controlshow more

Hired “Seaview Pestcontrol” in Feb 2016, for a rodent problem in our attic. Scott arrived promptly on time, was very courteous and friendly, very informative about what he was checking and the procedure he was going to perform. He checked out the whole roof first for open vents, and checked around and under the eaves of our house to see where any openings might be letting mice in. He did see one large vent with no screen on it so he put a screen over it. He also saw one opening where the house met the garage on the roof that was not secure, so he put in a screen there, then foamed it so nothing could get in. Excellent!. He also checked around the outside of the house at ground level to make sure no crawl space openings were wide open, but all of ours had screens. He went into the garage also because it’s connected to the house to see if anything could get in that way but we were good. On the inside of the house he went to the attic and laid some mouse traps. He came back in a week to check them and did have one mouse which he disposed of. All 4 trips to check the house and traps were in one low price. Each trip took less than one hour. The inspector was on time (although at the very end of a 5 hour window) and was extremely polite and professional. He was easy to talk to and low pressure. I felt like he would do an excellent job and would be easy to work with. He was respectful of our property and patient to explain things to me. The price quoted was about double what we expected but the inspector explained why that was so. I felt he was being helpful and reasonable. However, we did not choose to get the work done because my husband is a die-hard do-it-yourselfer. He used the plans the inspector had drawn and did all the work himself. So far, so goodshow more
