Sharp Appliance AC & Heating Repair Co
Fred, the owner, arrived promptly, and immediately diagnosed the problem as a broken pump. He had the parts available and was able to complete the job in less than 30 minutes. I was impressed that his hours are listed as 6 AM-11 PM. "I always answer my cellphone, and am also available on weekends at no extra charge." He's clearly a hard worker who values his clientele. Before he left, I consulted him about an air conditioning issue in our home, and he told me he would return with a technician to solve that problem as well. The reason I gave a "B" for price is that it wasn't a cheap repair, but I'm sure Fred is fair and charged accordingly, based on his labor and parts costs. I would definitely recommend Sharp Appliance Repair for all appliance repair needs

Lerman Appliances
Very responsive company. From the first phone call, which was answered by a live person which is so welcome (and so rare), I had the sense of a very professional company. The person on the phone, whom I believe is one of the family/owers, got all my information about the problem and was able to dispatch a repairman that same afternoon. Ilya arrived promptly and narrowed down the problem to one of two computer switches, neither of which he had in stock. He ordered the two switches and returned two days later and installed one, which turned out to be the culprit and the machine was once again back to full operation. Ilya was very efficient, professsional and friendly and explained everything to me clearly so I had confidence that he could solve the problem. While he was there he also re-leveled the machine as it had been vibrating all over the place during the spin cycle.\ I happily would use them again next time I need appliance repair

AMAR APPLIANCE
As I was washing clothes on the Friday before Labor Day weekend I noticed water on the floor after the machine completed its cycle. I called Amar Appliance and they said they would be out in 20 minutes. Ben showed up at that time, took apart the machine and told me about the leaky valve. He replaced it and was on his way within an hour and a half of our calling. Machine works fine now

APPLIANCE REPAIR & MAINTENACE
I called them on a Friday and they came the next day. They did a great job. They finished the work in a timely matter even though he had to search for the problem. They were able to fix the problem but it was a little more expensive due to the charge of the service call.

AARS Appliance Repair
Craig is a treasure. He came on a Saturday (in response to my plea - was having weekend guests), was on-time, quickly diagnosed the issue, had the part and got me up and running in no time. Five stars for AARS.

AARS Appliance Repair
Craig of AARS Appliance Repair in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, worked on solving my leaking problem. After dismantling the washer and running several tests to determine where the leaking was coming from, determined that the water pump was the cause. He had to order the part, since my Maytag Washer is over 30 years old, and returned with the part on Saturday of the same week. I have used Craig of AARS to repair my oven and just as before he is the best. Professional, personable, knows what he is doing, and does not attempt to work on something he is not schooled in or has no knowledge of. He is great and trustworthy and that is so important to us. Definitely recommend him and I will call again when any other of my ancient appliances act up

Local Appliance Repair
BEWARE ! ! ! Sunday my wife tried to do a wash in our Maytag Neptune washer and after she hit the ON button it started clicking loudly after 10-15 seconds and wouldn't start. My wife wanted me to fix it but I knew almost immediately we would need to pay for a technician to troubleshoot and fix it. So Monday I started calling a couple of Angie's List suggestions and only one company could come Tuesday and that was AAA so I made an appointment. Before I go on I want to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR the technician who showed up on Tuesday was wonderful. Dave was on time and a perfect professional. Dave had NOTHING to do with what I'm about to talk about. Dave used a Maytag Service book to troubleshoot the problem and it came up with 7 scenarios or things it could be causing the problem. Six of those were the electronic latch that he ended up changing. The 7th was the electronic motherboard but both Dave and I were convinced it wasn't the motherboard. So Dave calls into the home office to let them know the problem and in turn they can relay the price it will cost to fix it. (Standard operating procedures for most companies) This is where the story goes south. The home office calls me back within a few minutes and quotes something like $450.00 to replace the latch. I was shocked! But I didn't know what it should actually cost so I told them to hold on a few minutes and I called another local service provider. They were very helpful as I called to get a quote from them, knowing nothing of what I was actually doing but I knew the part number of the latch. They came back with a price of approximately $$230.00 out the door. That breaks down to ~$137.00 for the latch and the rest is labor and taxes. Made all sorts of sense. So I called the home office back and told them the truth. I said I just called one of their competitors in my city and this is what they came back with. The supervisor immediately started to talk about the man-hours or time it takes to do this work and I immediately stopped him mid sentence. I told him the diagnostic testing, pushing two buttons on the control panel, took a total of one minute to come back with the error code. It took Dave an additional one minute to remove the front bezel or cover from the washer and another 2 minutes to remove the latch. I'll give the company the benefit of the doubt and round this out to 5 minutes. I said the part cost roughly $135 and you want to charge me something like $325 to replace it? It will take less then 15 minutes to do this job and you want to charge me $450? Well, I happen to be in a very good mood that day plus Dave was a great guy and I felt sorry he was about to be thrown into the middle of this so I told the supervisor "Listen, if I kick you guys out I end up paying the $55.00 fee for coming out' so I told them I'll pay $300 and not a dime more. (Even though I should have stuck to closer to $230.) He immediately came back and said for me if I purchase the coupon online for something like $25 I get $80 credit and the total job will be $300. I did it and that was that. In summary, if I hadn't called the other company I would have paid over $450.00 for a job that should have cost around $230, or $250 AT THE VERY MOST! That's $200 I would have lost if I didn't make that call. I can't stand writing reviews of this nature because no one wins but after a few days of thinking about this whole experience I'm very upset. I have no idea where this company gets the (fill in the blank) to do this! And here is the kicker. When the supervisor first called with the $450 price I asked if that includes to 30% first time Angie's List Customer Discount they advertise and he stuttered for a second and said yes, that this price includes the discount. NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY. If that's true then the ACTUAL PRICE they quoted me is close to $650 ! ! ! Needless to say I will NEVER go back to these guys ever again and you'll simply have to figure it out for yourselves based on my story. It's a shame because Dave the technician is wonderful and a true professional! It's too bad the rest of his company doesn't shine as bright as he does..... Now I want my 30% discount that they plainly state on their profile. They still owe me $9

It went very well, quickly and throughly. When I scheduled the appt., the rep. suggested that I purchase their $49 coupon = $80 of service. The repair was actually $120., but I only paid $89.

The first call them came on time and called before hand, let me know what was wrong and came back out a few days later to install the new motor. When this was done the machine still did not work and was decided it was the pump. They came back a few days later and installed the pump and my washer works like new. Would recommend this company to others. Very good servic

Great service. Biggest complaint is price. Charged $350, which included $170 for the water valve. I later looked up the part online, IT WAS A $35 PART. Outrageous.

Local Appliance Repair
What the technician did was to run some tests on the washer which took a long time. He said the cost to fix it would run around $400 or more which he said was the motor. However , he also said that the computer or the front panel will likely be a problem later as it was known that repairs come in pair as maytag was known. He said no charge as he didnt do any work and I said wow. He was courteous and professional in his attitude. Although no actual work was done, I will call them if y next washer breaks down

Paul's Washer & Dryer Repair
I received a prompt return to my phone call to schedule an appointment. The gentleman asked some questions and quickly diagnosed the problem, describing exactly what was happening. Based on that, he said a repair was not cost-effective, and no reason for him to come out and charge me to say that. Sometimes the best advice is telling you what NOT to do -- really appreciated the integrity and insight

Appliance Attack
I called Appliance Attack (Phone number: 323 484-3246)on the recommendation of a friend, because my washer stopped working -i.e. not filling up with water. Billy asked me the brand and model number and he assessed the situation and likely cause and brought the parts over. Billy came at the time stated, he pointed out that the hose connections were easy to cross-thread(which I had accidentally done) he troubleshot the problem quickly(faulty water valve-stuck in the off position) and had the part in stock with him. He repaired the washer quickly and at a very fair price. I found him very professional and friendly and would use him again for sure. He seemed very knowledgeable and explained everything to me about the repair. He told me I had a very reliable machine that should give me many more years of service-which was nice to hear
