LG Fridge Repair Reviews Near You
Prime Appliance Repair
I cannot say enough good things about Arik and Prime. Arik quickly diagnosed the problem with our fridge (compressor issue) and offered a solution. He had the tools on site and was able to get working right away - a rare experience for us. While completing the repair, he noticed a blockage and stayed for nearly 2 extra hours clearing it out and making sure everything was working properly. I am very grateful to Arik for his professionalism and commitment to resolving our job. Arik and Prime will be my first call next time we ever have appliance issues going forward! We will absolutely recommend them to our friends and strongly recommend them to others looking for a high quality appliance repair company

DG Appliance Service
They were assigned to me from LG Service Center. Able to come out same day. Alex was knowledgeable and professional. He had the replacement compressor on his truck and did the work quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company! This was under the LG warranty as the refrigerator was less than 3 years old but would have cost about $1100 if it hadn't been

Appliance Guard
Same day service, problem fixed in time slot scheduled. Coordination by Mike, service by Yuri. Ice dispenser on 2 year-old LG French Door refrigerator. Price seemed reasonable. It was less than the fixed price through LG repairs.

Allen & Sons Appliance Repair
WARNING: This company is happy to take your money whether they fix your appliance or not. This company is listed as an authorized repair company for LG refrigerators but they can't fix LG refrigerators. They also canceled one of our several appointments over a three month time span because the technician said he needed a day off due to too much stress. After three months of trying to fix my refrigerator, they were not successful and wouldn't give a refund when I asked for one. The next repair appliance repairman who came out from a different company fixed the refrigerator

Local Appliance Repair
There had been a buildup of ice in my less than five-year-old LG refrigerator that I shouldn't have ignored, but did. I think it started a year ago, when I put something too heavy in the freezer and threw things out of balance, causing the freezer door to not close properly. Along the way, though, I managed to lighten the load, the door was closing securely, but I hadn't completely gotten rid of the icing problem. Recently, I saw that the refrigerator setting, normally at 4, went off completely. The freezer went up to a combination of 6/7 and stayed there. The first few times that this happened, I'd unplug the fridge, wait a minute or two, and plug it back in. Then everything would work properly, both the refrigerator and the freezer, defaulting to the automatic setting of 4. Last Wednesday, though, this little disconnecting trick stopped working for me; so I called I called Universal and spoke with Billy, who was gracious, kind and helpful. He said that the refrigeration specialist would be at my place between 2:00 and 5:00. At approximately 4:30 I got a call from Universal saying that the refrigeration specialist was tied up and couldn't make it for about 45 more minutes. I had to leave at 5:00, and the nice man on the phone asked if 8:00 the next morning would be all right. Of course I said that would be fine...knowing full well that by morning, I'd have to replace all the food in the fridge and freezer. Anyway, at 8:15 the next morning the refrigeration specialist showed up at my door. I tried to explain the problem to him, but upon seeing the refrigerator light off and the freezer light at 6 and 7, he had already "diagnosed" the problem, at least in his own mind. He told me it was "the computer" and that I should turn the refrigerator off for two days, and sometime after that he would return with a computer. I asked questions that he thought were irrelevant like, "How do you know it's the computer?" What happens if I turn the refrigerator off for two days, then plug it back in and it works?" "What happens if you replace the computer, but that's not the real problem? "How do you know it's not the defrosting unit?" Answer: "It's the computer. Turn off the refrigerator for two days, and I will order the part." Now irritated, three minutes after the man had entered my place, I asked him to just leave. Got a call from Billy, who was very kind in asking what had happened, calling the repair guy, calling me back, insisting that he has to trust his refrigeration specialist in saying that it must be the computer, graciously offering to keep my costs down...but it was too late. I wasn't going to have that guy back in my home for any reason, mostly because my guts told me he was wrong. Realizing that I was going to have to turn the fridge off anyway, I unplugged the refrigerator, got my blow dryer and a bunch of clean rags, thoroughly cleaned and dried the freezer, plugged the fridge back in...and it works like new. Well, the ice maker wasn't working at first, but I looked online and found that if I hold the ice size button for five seconds, that will reset the ice maker. Now even that's working. The problem that I had with the guy is that he didn't listen to me and made it clear that he thought I shouldn't bother myself with things like refrigerators, that he was the expert. He didn't answer my questions. He ignored any history I tried to give him. You guys at Universal seem super nice and are probably terrific. This man doesn't represent you the way that I would want someone to represent my business. Enough said. (Now I only hope the guy doesn't show up at my place because of what I've written here.) Update after reading the company's response: I'm not sure in what way I was difficult to deal with. I called them twice. First, to get a repairman and second to quickly let them know why I wasn't thrilled with the repairman. Most of the time on the phone was because they kept calling me. I never requested someone without an accent, and no one offered to get me a second service technician. Xenaphobic? Nope. Not thrilled with mysogeny? Yeah, maybe, but I could overlook it for the time it takes to fix something.. Bottom line: My instincts were dead on, and my fridge is still working beautifully

I did not use sharp appliances because they do not service LG refrigerators. They explain to me why this was so. I'm not too sure I ever want to buy LG appliances again. AM PM Appliance Repair
LG refrigerator was running very hot. I looked up authorized repair services on the LG website and found AM PM Appliance Repair. I then looked them up on Angie's List. They had good reviews. I called the number and spoke with Robert of Robert's Appliance Repair. Robert came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and then returned as promised within a few days. He quickly removed and installed the new light and fan. While the refrigerator was pulled out from the recess, he cleaned the top of it and the floor underneath. Very efficient and helpful. I would use him again

At UR Service Appliance Repair
After calling the LG customer support due to finding melted light cover and hot refrigerator, I looked online for the LG recommended service providers. Not impressed with the information I found for the recommended service providers, I logged onto Angie's list and choose a local appliance repair place. At Ur Service Appliance Repair , scheduling was easy. The repairman, Matt, was on time even thou I was not. He was patient, listen to my issues, evaluated the refrigerator and said I had an electrical fire and I was lucky it did not short out the lights. The control board was surging, you can hear it when the appliance is plugged in. Unfortunately he did not have the parts available, but provide me all the information needed to order the parts directly. Once the parts came in, Matt promptly returned to install

Lerman Appliances
They were very polite and understandable on the phone, the appointment was 2 days away, the tech called me when he was 20 minutes away and both techs were very polite. They took care of my problem.

ERNEST MAJOR APPLIANCE
Ernest Major Appliance is not a reputable company. They lied to me about their availability, used non-approved materials, and refused to honor the warranty on materials. They also refused to come back and will not return phone calls. When I asked them why they were refusing to fix my refrigerator and lying about several things, they said they just didn't want to come back! The overall exprience with this company was frustrating, costly and non professional
