Worst Service Ever! Called for repair of my ice machine in FEBRUARY. A guy came out and said I needed a whole new ice maker for my refrigerator. I paid half the cost and waited for them to call and return and install this new ice maker. After a month I called, asked what was up and they ssaid "Oh, your ice maker has come in" and I made another appointment for installation. After installing the new ice maker the repair guy said "Don't worry. You'll never have to replace this ice maker again!" I paid the balance owed and he left. He was so wrong! First he never even turned it on! After two days I figured that out and it has never worked properly since I turned it on. At the most I would get 8 ice cubes out and that was all. Couldn't even get enough ice to fill two glassed for iced tea. Then it just stopped working all together. I have called and called and called for someone to come out and repair it and I keep getting "Someone will call you tomorrow" or "Your service guy is on vacation" or "Someone will call you on Monday" or "the service guy is still on vacation" or "I'll let the owner know and we'll get back to you." This has been going on for months and obviously my Limited Warranty is now void!!!! Still waiting for someone to call me. I guess it's time to go to small claims court

We called American West Appliance Repair on 7/11/2015 regarding ice maker not producing ice cubes. We could not believe that someone would come out on Saturday within 2 hours of making the telephone call. Mike came out to check our ice maker by removing it. He determined that it was not working. The water valve was working properly and water line was not blocked. He had a brand new original GE ice maker on his truck. Within a few hours after installation a new ice maker was producing ice. The technician was nice and professional

The service call went well. The gas range repair was only cleaning the burner heads so they would ignite properly. The ice maker in the refrigerator needed replacing which was the majority of the call and expense. Several months after the ice maker was installed it failed, the company went out of their way to replace the ice maker under warantee and charged a minimal and appropriate service call. The service man also provided guidance on how to avoid problem such as we had as well as describing the strengths and weaknesses of the ice maker design. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses helps avoid future problems

I contacted Igor on 10/13/2014 regarding our ice maker not producing ice cubes. Igor came out on 10/15 and took a look at our ice maker by removing it and determined that it was the ice maker itself that was not working and that the water line was not blocked. He thought he had a replacement ice maker with him and when he went to install it he could not because it was not the right kind. He said he would check at his office and see if he had an ice maker that was compatiable with ours and if not he would order one. Igor said that he would call us later, but we did not hear back from him. He then returned the next afternoon on 10/16 and appologized for not calling, but had lost our phone number. He replaced our ice maker with in 15 mins with a new one. He told us that if there were any problems to let him know and that the ice maker would be working with in the day. He was right and within a few hours the ice maker was working. We now have ice and it is working just great

American West Appliance Repair
My refrigerator quit making ice. I called American West to see what's going on. I used them in the past. They sent a nice tech, who was on time and very friendly. I thought that ice maker needed to be replaced. But Mike the technician determined that there was no water coming to the ice maker. He replaced a water valve and my ice maker has been working perfectly. Good job

Ben showed up on time. Had to spend some time cleaning out the ice clogs in the freezer and ice maker. Fixed up the problem, gave us a very fair price ($200) to replace the front door control panel that was irreparably damaged because of the ice maker leaks. We decided to forgo the control panel replacement. The ice maker been working fine since. Thanks Ben

We observed that the ice maker in our built-in refrigerator was not making ice. Called for repair service, and the technician arrived punctually. After some testing, he determined that the ice maker needed to be replaced. After installation of the new part, the ice maker seemed to go through the ice making cycle correctly, but understandably, the technician could not wait around for the ice cubes to be formed. After he left, we checked the new ice maker several times, and soon discovered the new maker had not made any new cubes. Called for follow-up service, which again arrived on schedule. After further testing, the valve that controlled the flow of water to the ice maker was replaced. This fixed the problem. The invoice for the second repair visit covered the cost of the new water control valve, and did not include any charge for installation labor. It left, unanswered, the question as to whether the new ice maker, installed in the first visit, was necessary

Excellent job. Replaced bad part in dryer with good result. Diagnosed and fixed icing problem in refrigerator freezer by properly realigning pull out freezer drawer. Diagnosed ice maker problem and provided estimate. Customer declined service on the ice maker.

Very well, Joseph was very quick, repsonding the same day and when the part came in, he was very accommodating. I was really impressed wtih his knowledge of the GE Monogram model and thankful he knew how to fix it. I haven't had such luck with previous technicians and this model.

When I discovered the ice maker on the fritz, I e mailed this AL provider and they called first thing next am to set up appointment for later that morning. The tech, Billy, arrived on time (in an eco friendly car, a big plus!) and answered all questions and was able to replace a 12-year-old ice maker in a short time. I wasn't sure how much the new device would make right away, but when I pestered the office they were always patient - another good sign they understand they are in a SERVICE business. Another first world problem solved; I can make my iced tea again

I called Lerman after reading all the positive reviews to fix a problem with my ice maker. My initial call was answered by a machine. The call was returned within the hour and I was able to schedule a technician for same day service. The repairman arrived within 3 hours and was a little early. He quickly diagnosed my problem, a broken sensor, ice maker and assembly. Within @ 2 hours all of the parts were installed and tested. The parts and labor have a one year warranty. David K, the repairman, was nice enough to explain the repairs that were completed and give me tips on how to keep my freezer and ice maker in good working order. I would not hesitate to call this company

It went well. Based on my research on google, there are 2 possible area that may cause the icemaker to not work. Now I could do a "trial and error" to figure out if I have a bad ice maker or I have a bad water module but that would be costly and time consuming. Got this $40 deal from Angie's list. The guy came out and was able to tell us that the ice maker is kaput. Gave us an estimate of $300 for parts and labor to fix (To which we all laughed.. but that's how it works!) Not gonna spend $300 to repair the icemaker in a 10 yrs old Fridge that is worth a few hundred bucks on craigslist. I was able to ordere the ice maker online for $35 and watch youtube video of step-by-step. 10 mins is all it took for do-it-myself and VIOLA!! It works now!! This was a GREAT $40 deal and I highly recommend these guys
