We started finding random fleas in our house. Strange, as the only pets we have are fish. Then, after stepping into the yard I noticed a lot of fleas on my ankles. 20 or 30 of them! I had fleas in the back yard. Carlos from Stanley Pest Control arrived on time. He identified the source of fleas right away. It was from the raccoons living under the deck. He provided several recommendations, including hiring animal remover to get them out of there. He then sprayed the pesticide in the area. He also sprayed pesticide inside my house since the fleas also got inside. However, he was not able to honor the original cost of $40 I was quoted on the phone when I made the appointment. It went very poorly. Not only have I still had fleas biting now a week since treatment, but I had fleas biting the night of treatment. I chose this location due to rating and proximity to me (I knew it would need to be first thing in the morning due to disposition of 2 cats for 4 hours and a half day off from work) and I didn't want the location to be a problem in getting here in the morning. Not only was I NOT serviced by the Lennox location, I was serviced out of long beach and guess what? He was running late. I did a LOT of prepwork (vacuuming, vacuuming and moving things out and off the floor, washing all linens) and was told I would receive a walk through upon arrival to discuss focus areas and I could ask questions. When the technician arrived he was not the one I was told would arrive and when I began to 'walk through' with him he not only rushed me and interrupted 1 minute into walking by insisting that I sign his work order so that he can get started 'because i'm running late'. I then attempted to continue walking through and he interrupted again saying 'lady, I don't know what you were sold' and 'you want me to exterminate everything, right?!' I left upset and I don't see a big difference in what the treatment did vs. what I was doing already and I paid 200 dollars. I have called customer service who cannot help and insist I speak with the supervisor and she sent messages to him but I have received no callsshow more
