CHARLESTON POOL & SPA

I talked to a person named Lin and he said he will call me back to set up a time but he never called back. He had a job that he had to complete. I called them again on the 23rd, spoke to David and he said he will have someone to come out and look at the pool but no one showed up or called me back. I'll use them not to put up a pool but for supply only in case of emergency.

I bought a Catalina spa years ago from David at Charleston Pool and Spa. When it had a problem, they sent a great technician out and it was fixed on the spot. This summer when it needed repair, I got no where. Called three times and was promised David would call me, but he did not. I left messages, but received no reply. If a company's service and repair side is like this, I would NEVER buy a product from them.

It's relaxing. They take their time. It's downtown.

Our experience with CP&S was a complete disaster from beginning to end. While in the sales process they seemed knowledgeable and supportive, once hired and work began the trouble started. Within 1 week of our pool and decking being installed, the concrete decking began to crack .. not just small stress cracks but some of them are 1/4" in size. Nearest the jacuzzi the decking is 'sinking' not just cracking. It is as though the jacuzzi is moving toward the pond in our backyard. In addition, the pool equipment installed is not sufficient to keep our pool clean. The owner of the company told us (in an email) that we should be able to keep the pool clean and if we can't we should hire a pool service. So we did and since then we have had 2 pool service companies quit us because they can't keep the pool clean either!!!! Now we are faced with pulling out all of the decking, back filling around the pool, resetting the jacuzzi and replumbing all equipment. Please warn all intended customers to stay away from this company!!!!

The project was excellent and turned out beautifully. We dealt with Mike throughout the Sales process and the Construction process as well, which I highly recomend as there is no ambiguity between what your salesperson tells you and what the contractor actually does. Mike and his team are highly professional and a pleasure to work with. Great folks. The pool project looks Outstanding and our family enjoys it every day we can. The Cal Spa has also been Great and we cant wait to enjoy it even more this upcoming Winter. Charleston Pool and Spa did a great job in a timely manner and I highly recomend.

The spa was a "demonstrator" from their showroom floor. About a year after it was installed, the spa started to eject jets. I purchased 4 new jets, but others continued to come out making the spa unusable. I called the company to complain but was told I would have to speak to the owner. They would not have him contact me. I was told that he would be in on Thursday or Friday afternoon. I called both days but he was not in. "Dave" told me he would have the owner call but he never did. The spa remains unusable. This company does not stand behind their work.
