Bob Boldt Hvac Service & Installation

There are so many HVAC companies to choose from that it is difficult to make a good decision. I decided right from the start that I didn't want to call the big guys, the ones on TV all the time. So I started to search for a smaller company with personal service. That was a good choice. I got estimates from 2 others and they were both close. I selected Bob Bolt HVAC based on their representative. Joel was very friendly and knowledgeable. By the time he surveyed our home and discussed things with me I had made up my mind that he was a person I wanted to do business with. We made a date and they were right on time. Sam & Charlie installers were just like Joel - friendly and knowledgeable. They were very respectful of my home and my questions. I liked watching them and could see how carefully they were installing and adjusting everything. I would say that from beginning to end, everything was exactly what I had wanted. I will use them again.

I’m a new employee of Bob Boldt HVAC, 12/16/2019. The company is very organized, educated, and honest. I’m excited to be a new team member of a local company that is growing. Looking forward to many years with Bob Boldt HVAC!!

We originally went with Bob because he was local to Eagan. We explained to Bob what we wanted and Bob agreed to the job. Granted this was a long process and a lot of calls into him asking for progress and updates. He had the plans and he visited the house and GC numerous times. He even completed the energy calcs and gave to the city which were approved. He even started cut outs for return air and heat\ac vents. I say this all because he heard from his crew that we did not want sofits in our main living area and he said, that was never the plan. My husband | GC on job, told him numerous times, "remember no sofits in main living areas', Bob replied, "not a problem'. Bob met with my husband on Friday to say he wont do it. To my and my husband's dismay, we agreed to the sofits. Not because we would like the look but because we are in the middle of our build. Bob already submitted energy calcs and we already gave him $10K.. We called him all numerous times over the weekend to agree to the sofits and her never answered. Until Monday when he came to the house and send he doesn't want to do the job. Thankfully Bob refunded us our money , now hopefully the check CLEARS! So Dear Bob, left us in the first part of summer with us having to find a new HVAC installer.

Bob's service was fantastic! He was prompt, super-friendly and professional. He checked our furnace and a/c and did the needed tune up. Great service and great guy.

My husband called me 7 pm on 11/24/08 (Mon b4 Thanksgiving!) to tell me our furnace had died. House was down to 58 F & we were scheduled to leave town that Wed. He looked in the phone bk, called several HVAC listings, including Bob & he was the 1st to call back. Bob was there w/in 45 min to inspect the furnace. He showed me (I'm non-mechanical) some of the problems w/our furnace (where the burners had completely corroded through, the burn plate was destroyed, etc.). When Bob informed us that we had to replace our furnace, he moved another appt. to install it the next day b4 we left town! He worked w/us on financing as we had not budgeted for this little crisis! He was patient w/ all of my questions (the ones my hubby already knew, but I did not have a clue)! He even was friendly & tolerated our 2 long-haired doxies barking @ him & sniffing him several times to be sure it was 'ok' for him to be in our house. They liked him (which says a lot!). He was very helpful when our initial financing did not go through and worked w/us to get new financing in place. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone in need of HVAC services.

We called Bob and we set up a date and time. The day of the appointment he called to tell us that he may be late, which wasn't a big deal, but it was nice to know that he cared enough to give us a call. A bigger company would not have done that. He fixed added on freon to our a/c unit and fixed the thermometer in the house. The wiring was incorrect. He was very efficient and informative. He had very good pricing too. I would recommend Bob to anyone looking for an HVAC business.
