The Door Man

In my long journey to get my sliding doors rolling easily again, I happened on The Door Man. After endless brushoffs and even missed appointments by other businesses, Mr. Man actually took a minute to help. He only removes sliding doors to replace with French doors, BUT he recommended two outfits that he thought could help. Today, one of those businesses showed up! and took care of my problem. So a big cheer to him.

He came highly recommended and exceeded even those expectations! He stopped by and gave us a reasonable quote, and a timeline of when he would be able to complete the job. He installed the door in a morning, making it look very easy, even though the door and jamb were old and the door required several careful cuts to make it fit. Professional service and excellent results. We would definitely use him again.

The Door Man responded quickly to my call. He met with me, discussed my preferences, and measured, all within an hour. It took about a week to finish the project because we had summer rains every day. He followed the weather forecasts and stayed in touch and installed the fiberglass-clad door on the first dry day. I was happy with the moderate price and the good quality of the door and the quick installation work. Precise measurements to ensure a tight fit are important and everything seems perfect. We had the house painted a few years ago and the contractor installed new weather stripping. We considered that very good, but The Door Man replaced it with a much superior version. It has been about three months since the project and we're still pleased.

Bo knows doors! He did a great job. Fixed a door that was stuck and would not open, replaced a door that was defective, and adjusted several that would not stay open or wouldn't stay closed. Very pleased with the quality of his work!

Bo McCarthy was wonderful!! He came out to our law office to give me an estimate regarding replacing all the doors, (14 in all). Instead of talking me into new doors, he told me that we should just paint or stain the doors that we had. He told me that they were in great shape, and were expensive doors that would cost me a lot of money to replace. We are redoing the entire office building, and most times the minute people see that it is an attorney, the price goes up. It is so rare in this day and time to find someone who would love to sell you something new, but instead his integrity was amazing. It would have been so easy to tell me that we had to get new doors. He knew that I had no knowledge of doors, and yet he was honest with his assessment. I would definitely use his services again. When I do need doors, I know that this man will give me a fair price!!

The Doorman was amazing. He was professional and informative in initial contacts and in providing a thorough estimate. He offered options and guidance when providing the initial estimate. He made sure the final product was of excellent quality and his installation was superb. Mr. McCarthy was a pleasure to work with and we are completely satisfied with our new, beautiful entry door.
