+ -1 moreIt was fantastic. I love them. They are very accommodating, very professional and very responsive. They have attention to detail. They are going to come back to do some other painting. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were supposed to come back last month and do my other room, as well as a couple of touch ups but I forgot to call and book them so that's my fault. They asked me to pick up the paint but that was in fine prints for the big deal and I picked some additional like blue painters tape but nothing that I didn't expect. They exceeded my every expectation.
Description of Work: They did interior painting and it was for the master bedroom. They patched and repaired small holes and applied two coats of paint.

+ -1 moreThere was a delay after paying $199.00 on 11/28/14 and the provider actually showing up on 1/8/15. I had to make numerous phone calls to the office which was very poor customer service. on 1/8/15 the owner Gent and a painter Sean, came here to complete the 7 hours of painting. I asked Gent for a quote for the whole job. He said I would pay when the job was done. I dont understand why I never got a quote for the job. Gent left and Sean said he had to leave for a dental appointment after 5 hours. I was outside gardening and came in to hear Sean say he had to leave for a dental appointment. I looked at what he had painted and was amazed to see he had only painted 4 baseboards of one average sized room. After 5 hours of painting, he only painted the baseboards of one room. I am wholeheartedly disappointed and do not want to have these people in my home ever again. I want a full refund of $199.00. I am going to dispute this with Pay Pal and my bank as well.
Description of Work: Provider was paid on 11/28/14 but never responded to numerous phone calls for setting an appointment. Finally showed up on 1/8/15 and took 5 hours to paint the baseboards of one average sized room. I asked for a quote while the owner was here and was told I could pay when all the work was done. Never heard of a provider not quoting a job.

+ 1 moreI purchased the $199.00 deal for the painting of one interior room. Juan came out to look at the job. Because I wanted the ceilings and the door painted, and also asked if they could do the work on the weekend, the job was bid at $350.00, which seemed a fair price. We scheduled the job for Sunday, January 25th between 8-9am. Juan showed up on time and had purchased the paint from Home Depot as agreed. I reimbursed Juan directlry for the paint and waited for the painter for approx 30 minutes. The painter showed up around 9:30am and got to work as Juan left the job site. The painter, sorry I do not know his name, worked steadily until around 1:30pm. The room looks good, probably about the same quality as if I had painted the room myself. The drywall repair was not the best, but to be fair, the deal does say that drywall repair will be minimal. The room is painted as agreed.

We got a job estimate from him for $700 not including paint, to paint just 3 rooms on the first floor; but he told us he didn't know why his wife put that "deal" in that way because he has to pay Angie's List 35%. He does not estimate by man-hours so we could not tell whether $700 for our job was a good deal or not. We've gotten other estimates from the painters listed on your List. We are not going to hire this one to do our job, so we need to ask for a full refund. Will this credit go back on our credit card?

+ -1 more.See above. I avoided giving you this review for a long time but you were persistent on the review. I really do not wish to speak on this subject again.
Description of Work: provider was supposed to strip my double fiberglass entrance doors and re apply a stain similar to the original and it was going to take several days to complete the job because it was going to be stages of stripping, drying, staining, drying, and two coats of verathane with drying in between each coat. I thourly agreed with the plan s that is the way I would have done it if I were twenty years younger. However the worker they sent to do the job did start to finish in approximately 6 hours. The job was horrible it was very rough and with so many coats in on top of each other in such a short time the job did not dry properly and had many runs because the coats were applied on top of each other without dry time, they also applied a stain which was much much darker than my original color, ( which I did authorize because they said that the lighter stain was no longer available). I complained they promised to do the job over right, the worker came back out, sanded the doors and re applied the stain in one day, came back the next and applied two coats of verathane in the same day without enough drying time. The door looks decent but it is not what I signed on for. I decided to accept the job as is pay the balance and chalk it up to a bad experience. I will probably apply an additional two coats of Verathane this summer with the proper drying time between coats and hope the job holds up.

+ 1 moreThe first project went well, they were very quick but upon later review of the finished work they could have taken more time to pay attention to detail. Overall they did a decent job. The second project was painting the exterior trim color which came out very nice. The third project was fencing, they sprayed the fence panels on my back lawn killing the whole thing. The project manager was very rude and it was a hassle to get him to clean up the old fencing even though it stated in the contract that he would be responsible for it. I thought the attitude was a very poor one. The comments that were made to myself and my mother in law were ridiculous and I would not recommend working with Kleison again. The girls in the office were great as were the workers but the project supervisor needs a lesson or two in customer service.

+ 0 moreIt took a few visits to have the job done right. If you don't mind babysitting the employees to make sure the craftsmanship is up to par, then this might be the company for you. The owner seemed pretty attentive, but some of the employees just seemed like they didn't care.

+ 0 moreRed Brush damaged one of my decks but did come back to fix the deck and cork it. He damaged my wall. He never came back to fix the wall. He fixed my ceiling in my kitchen which was a sloppy job. I showed him the sloppy work done by his employee which he said he would fix. I started the complaint process because the whole wall was damaged. I called him Saturday to come fix my wall and he said he was out of business and hung up on me.
Description of Work: Red Brush came out to seal, cork and clean my two decks. He also changed bulbs in my toilets, fixing 3 toilets. Also they did a little patch work in my kitchen which was sloppy as well. My other wall was damaged from a leak from my deck which he said he filled but it still went into my kitchen damaging my wall.
