+ -1 moreThe personnel did an excellent job, going beyond what I expected when they recommended and installed a free anti-virus program that they recommended and the re-installation of the Windows operating system. They performed the work at the advertised price ($55 plus $30 if bench time exceeded 1 hour).
Description of Work: My laptop computer would automatically restart when I tried to shut down and the operating speed was slow. In addition to the hardware problem, ProTek engineers also removed several bad trojan horse and malware virus. They reloaded the windows operating system and installed a better anti-virus program. The automatic restart problem was caused by hardware failure. ProTek called the manufacturer, Vision Computers, and determined that it was still under warranty. The personnel were very professional and kept me fully informed of what they were doing. They provided a written description of the hardware problem so that it could be sent with the computer to the manufacturer for further repair.
