3) Troubleshooting

3.1) How do I install Prime Video on my devices?
The Prime Video app is available on all major set-top boxes, multiple smart TVs, Amazon devices, mobile devices, Blu-Ray players, game consoles, and media streaming devices.

  1. Open your device's app store to download and install the Prime Video app.
  2. Open the Prime Video app.
  3. Register your device by selecting Register on Amazon site. You will receive a code to enter on a given website. Some devices will display the Sign in and start watching option with your Amazon account information.

3.2) I’m experiencing streaming issues, what can I do?
First, check your device bandwidth speeds. For the best live streaming experience, Prime Video recommends a minimum download speed of 1 Mbps for SD & 5 Mbps for HD. Prime Video will serve the highest quality streaming experience possible based on the bandwidth speed available. If you’re experiencing any issues with video juddering/motion, we recommend turning the Motion setting on your TV to Off. This setting might have a different name depending on your TV manufacturer. Some examples of the Motion setting include Auto Motion Plus, Tru Motion, MotionFlow, Cinemotion, and Motion Picture.

3.3) My stream is delayed, how do I reduce this?
Whilst all devices have been optimised to give a smooth and clear viewing experience, some devices offer less delay between the live game and your stream. We recommend using a Fire TV, iOS or Android device for the best viewing experience.

3.4) I’m receiving a location error when attempting to watch.
New Zealand Cricket coverage is only available to Amazon.in Prime customers based in India only. All other international locations aren’t supported.

Prime Video doesn't support streaming content through Virtual Private Network (VPN) or proxy connections.

3.5) Can I live stream matches on any device? You can stream these matches online through your web browser, and Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top-boxes, Fire tablets and other compatible devices. For a list of devices compatible with our service, visit primevideo.com. You can stream up to three videos at the same time using the same Amazon account.
