These work great and provide just enough light to see by. I do like the motion sensor feature it works very well. These were purchased for use in our RV which uses RV type receptacles which are configured different than standard residential ones. For these to work I did have to change out the receps. In the locationa I wanted to us them. Great product though.

The instructions were easy to follow and I installed this in our bathroom in about 5 minutes. Simple, just snap it on. It took longer for me to figure out the switch that controls the time lol; so it would be helpful for them to just mention for example that the switch in the top position is 15 seconds and the bottom position is 3 minutes. The motion detector is straight on, so if you are at an angle, it doesn't work. Other than that, I like it and would buy more for other outlets if the need arises.

Makes a wonderful alternative to having a bulky night light in the outlet. It's great having both outlets free and it looks nice with the light eluminating from the bottom of the cover. I find the brighness of the light to be perfect and they installed easy. The motion detection is fine, but would be nice if it was a bit more sensitive and respond quicker. They can always be switched on to have a steady light.

I rarely complain about a product, but sometimes something is so bad that I just have to. These things are useless. There is zero documentation provided with the product. Sure, they tell you to take off the old plate and install this plate in it's place. No kidding. (insert eye roll emoji here) But there are TWO switches on this thing, one on each side. There is no information about which switch does what. And tney are both three position switches. So they give you a QR code on the package insert to scan and "get the instruction manual". I realize more and more products are going to this methodology, but this QR code takes you to their web page and WILL NOT let you get the manual without entering your email address and signing up for product updates. So after you figure out how to get around their information stealing portal and get to the website, you have to poke around to find the instruction manual you want. And it is hidden pretty well. You would think clicking the support link on the actual product would take you to support for the product you already took a bunch of extra time to find. Nope. Keep searching. (They make several products and at the time I went there, they were much more interested in plugging their "Black Friday" sales and deals than anything else. After several minutes of searching and clicking away numerous pop-up ads, you can finally get to the instructions that will tell you what each switch is for. For those looking, let me help you...the switch on the left is the power...all the way down is OFF, 1 cluck up is low light and all the way up is max light output. The switch on the right is for the time on. All the way down is 3 min, 1 click up is 1 min and all the way up is 15 seconds....you're welcome) I would have been happy to at least know which switch handled which operation, but that was a bridge too far for them to put on the package or the product. (No, there is no indication of which switch does what on the wall plate either, not on the front or the back)

Then there is the motion detection. You pretty much have to be right up on the thing for it to detect anything. This is in a hallway, so it's not like the angle you are approaching from can be bad. Our hallways are completely clear of anything, so not likely we would trip over anything anyway, but if your objective, like ours, is to light the path ahead of you, this doesn't really do the job. If you've read this far and still want to order these, best of luck. Your experience may be more positive. This documents my experience with them. I really, really wanted these things to work well. They just didn't.

My husband has vision problems due to a detached retina. We had the non-motion lights and they were very functional. But they left subtle lighting in the bedroom and hall. So the lights at night were quite helpful, but the room was never comfortably dark. We bought 3 motion-activated to replace them and I liked that they keep the room and adjoining hallway dark until motion activated. I was initially in love with them. However, they just spontaneously turn on without any provocation whatsoever up to 5 times per night (maybe more but I may be asleep). I will be awake and the ONLY movement in the room is my and my husband's breathing. Suddenly one turns on and remains on for the set time period. I might almost be asleep and another turns on doing the same. Sometimes I am almost asleep on my side and the one in the hallway facing me suddenly goes on and ruins it. We have tinkered with the adjustments (sensitivity, etc.) to no avail. We've had these now for about 3 weeks and I am considering returning them due to this very annoying dysfunction.
