Customers have mixed opinions about the fit of the sockets. Some say the sockets fit well, can fit different nuts and bolts like hex, and the ratchet is pretty tight. Others mention it's impossible to fit the tool and socket together in tight spaces, the sockets fit loosely in the case, and there is an internal shoulder that is too large on some sockets that it will not pass over. Overall, opinions are divided on the fit.

Customers are unhappy with the ratchet. They mention it doesn't come with it, the ratchet mechanism is poor, and they are missing the handles. Some say the concept is good but the ratchet needs to be reduced to fit in confined spaces.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2015Color: MultiVerified Purchasethe plastic thing it comes in is basically trash, cant really see using it after you open it once. it wasnt sold as a ratchet and case tho and so for the real review the ratchet set is really nice. its a little hard to tell what sizes they are because i havent taken it from the case yet and because they arnt typically shaped you cant really judge by looks what will fit your bolt. but when you do use it. it fits very snug and feels very solid. no play in the ratchet and seems to have pretty decent resolution. havent put a whole lot of stress on it yet but feels like itll hold up well. i wish they etched a "on off" by the switch tho like snapon does. i believe the switch is actually backwards from what im used to from other ratchets but i may be wrong. i typically switch it and run it a time or two in my hand to make sure tighten or loosen ill get used to it soon tho and maybe ill mark the switch myself somehow.
seems like a very nice set, love the black color and i hope it doesnt end up rusting but seems fine.
ive used it on my lawn mower and on my car changing my oil so far. pretty happy with it. kinda wish it came with a exstention of some sort tho. its low profile gets your hand dangerously close to what its moving around. may result in a couple skinned knuckles. exspect that if your that close to the work.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2015Color: MultiVerified PurchaseI am very happy with this product. The sockets appear well machined with a uniform black oxide coating that doesn't rub off, and are clearly etched with their respective size. I personally like the X6 design although some reviewers have said that it lacks bite; I don't use this set for automotive work where high torque is probably required more frequently, but for general fixing applications I have had no problems.
The modular nature of the kit works very well: sockets are supplied for a wide range of SAE and metric sizes and the hollow socket design allows this set to be used as a deep socket set (of infinite depth) as well as a standard socket set. The sockets and 3/8" adaptor connect securely to the wrench and the tool does not feel like a gimmick as innovative products sometimes do.
The wrench itself is of a typical size for the sockets included and had a smooth ratchet mechanism. The case that holds everything together is reasonable and I will keep the tool in this case in my shop.
Very happy with the quality for the price I paid, the lifetime guarantee, and the innovative nature of the tool. Happy to recommend to others. I haven't come across any negatives as yet.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2016Color: MultiVerified PurchaseThis is my first ratchet set, so take my review as a first time ratchet owner and not some super mechanic expert. I haven't had much use of a ratchet set in my life. Lately though, I have been coming across projects that I need something that gave me leverage to get nuts and bolts out easier. regular crescents just weren't working for me.
I am pretty impressed with this ratchet set. I was able to get my car battery out that I couldn't with a crescent because it was a tight spot. I tried using a reg screwdriver ratchet that I had but the bolt was too long and couldn't reach the nut. So this pass through socket worked perfectly for me. I also had to take apart my washer to fix a problem. I like how the sockets easily gripped the washer bolts. I can't say anything bad really, it works, feels durable, and came with a lot of sockets. I guess if I had to be picky, the only con I could think of is that the case it comes with could use some work, like maybe a cover just in case one of the sockets or the ratchet comes loose on accident.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2014Color: MultiVerified PurchaseWell, they look sexy, let's see how long the black and gold finish holds up. The finish is pretty consistent, except for the sockets; some are shinier than others. Same for the machining. The machining on the ratchet is really nice but uneven on some of the sockets. Size-wise, the ratchet handle feels a bit short for my hand. Only real downside is the carrying case. Some sockets are too tight, some drop out on their own. That wouldn't be a big deal if you could just put these on a standard socket holder, but you can't. I don't think this will be my go-to ratchet, the action is a little stiff, but I'm looking forward to using it in specialized situations.
Edit: Yeah, don't get too attached to the finish. It comes off easily with use and setting it on rough surfaces. Still very useful, especially for situations like strut top nuts where the shaft must be immobilized with a hex key or similar.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2018Color: MultiVerified PurchaseDifferent looking and works very well in tight spaces. Sometimes the ratchet will hang up and not switch directions, but it is brand new and hopefully "wear in" and be smoother. This gives you the versatility of a ratchet/sockets and almost as much clearance as a ratcheting wrench. The unique gripping cogs fit and hold very well, also. I deliberately used it while rebuilding the front suspension on my Dodge truck. I reefed on big bolts/nuts purposely to test the strength of the ratchet, it held up great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tolles Werkzeug, sollte in keiner Werkstatt fehlen.

Color: MultiVerified PurchaseExcellent, been great and still going strong. I work in rail and come in really handy getting over long bolts in tight areas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bueno bonito y no tan caro

5.0 out of 5 stars Vale la pena
