I got my first "SCANNED" stamp because I noticed several (OK a lot) of documents were being scanned twiced. Talk about wasted effort. Sure most people were writing "done" on the bottom to indicate that they were scanned (writing scanned takes too much time) but that was overlooked and the document was scanned a second time. Now we stamp and put a date on the document before it's scanned so everybody can plainly see that's it's done.
I have a "SCANNED" stamp from 4 years ago. The only reason a got a second one was I have a second office. Caution-These put out too much ink when new and the ink soaks through to the back side, so if you have an important document stamp a blank sheet of paper then the document. After about 1,000 documents it's about right. As the stamp gets older get some red ink, I use only the original X-Stamper ink. A small bottle lasted a lifetime. I've had the same bottle for over 10 years and I have several red ink stamps. You only have to re-ink one a year.
