Currently I've got an old truck with no aux and the cd player is busted, I resort to fm transmitters out of necessity. I have tried several FM transmitters over the years on this vehicle and previous ones. Recently I lost my old transmitter and tried a few new ones and tried several Roav models that stunk either on clarity or volume. I got this one because I figured at the very least the unit being on a cord I could place it on my dash marginally closer to the antenna. Well it turned out to not matter. The sound quality on the fm transmitter of this one is impressively good.
Compared to the other ones I have tried this one sounds really good for what it is. It blocks out static/interference, comes through clear, can turn it up quite loud, and it actual has (relatively) good preservation of the audio quality. I can definitely hear parts of the songs that were lost with my previous fm tuner.
The bass boost works with mixed results depending on the song. If it had a few levels of adjustment maybe that would be even better, but that's jsut being picky at this point.
I am super happy with this unit so far. I don't use it for any of the hands-free calling stuff so far, but for listening to music with the FM transmitter part I am very, very pleased. I knew good ones existed because I've had them drive by me on the road and dominate my radio for a few seconds, but I've tried so many and have had to settle for mediocre at best. The fm transmitter on this one is downright decent, If you have tried others and settled for something half good maybe consider trying this one.

The best FM transmitter I've bought
I bought this for my son to use in our 2005 SUV. This thing is crystal clear when I'm talking to him. The noise cancellation is incredible. Absolutely no background noise. Remember folks, it's an FM transmitter! If you have interference, change the frequency it is transmitting on to a different frequency.
The vent clip has a dial nut on it to tighten the clip to the vent louvers. Placement of these transmitters is crucial. This one is designed to be at the dash vent level so that it can pick up your voice clearly, hence why it has a corded cigarette lighter adapter.
I like it so much I've bought a second one!

Clamp problem.
This has got to be the worst clamp assembly possible. It’s not designed to squeeze down other than in a V position.Hunter S.Clamp problem.

So in brief it would not hold onto the grill for the ventilation I had to make a clamp to slip in to my dashboard for to hold onto.
Instructions are not idiot proof but I finally figured it out.
When’s connected it sounds fine it was just a question of funny the rates radio station to avoid static.
