    These black wire mesh cups for utensils, or anything small to keep on a desk or a countertop were asked Whitley exactly what I had been looking for. They are your typical run-of-the-mill wire, mesh holders of all good things. Excellent purchase, worth the value and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

    These types of items are very useful, as I can use at my desk, or in my living or bed room...to help with all the remote control items I have, and ofc throw some pens, pencils, and whatever small items I need around. So this thing will serve my purposes, although the one I got was a bit "off". As in it wasn't even perfectly flat at the top, but 1 or 2 sides were sticking up...making it look a bit weird. One of the "fences" on one edge was sticking out, and was not in properly, so after some brute force...it kindof fit under the lip better. That helps it look more aesthetically normal...although if you looked very closely you could still see it was still slightly not flat.

    So...while after pushing it in, it is sturdy enough, and will work for one of my various needed purposes...I would not suggest this if you want a nice one to look good at your desk or office, as the quality control may not be the best. But if you don't care too much about perfect quality, and just want an affordable item of this type...it would likely suffice decently well. (It's also not 1 pound like the listing states, but I think about 2.64 ounces..or almost weightless.) Which is also fine for this item just holding pens and maybe a few light remotes, but if you want a thick one for large TV remote controls, heavy items, and just better quality...I suggest buying thicker, sturdier, slightly pricier ones in that case.

    This is much nicer than the old coffee mug I've been using to hold an assortment of writing instruments. It blends in to my desk top instead of sticking out "like a sore thumb". I'm glad to have it.
