- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 January 2016A few important things to remember.....
This transfer paper is only suitable for white or light fabrics, so you can't print onto black or other dark colours, it simply will not work.
If you are printing with letters/text then it needs to be revered, because otherwise when you iron it on, it will be back to front.
Don't iron with steam turned on when using a steam iron
Don't use an ironing board, they are padded. Use a table top or kitchen worktop.
Always set your printer to print in high resolution
Trim as much of the excess paper off before you apply it to the material.
When washing use a low 30c setting
I've used this paper for both t-shirts and canvas bags and it works very well, its easy to use, simple to apply and can be washed easily.
The paper comes with a very easy to use guide, that gives you step by step instructions on how to print, apply the image to the material, so if you follow the instructions you will have no issue with using this paper. The guide also gives you good washing instructions so again just by following the guide you should have no issue at all.
I've found that images printed on this paper appear really nice when applied to t-shirts, just remember to trim the excess paper, otherwise that will be stuck to the t-shirt as well.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 May 2022Fantastic product..really easy to use. I didn’t expect great results as I don’t have a heat press. Watched a couple of youtube videos, that all use this exact brand. It was just a little bit of fun to print onto some t-Shirts for a family holiday for my mini-disco for the kids! The t-shirts were purchased from Primark and I have a bog standard inkjet printer. My daughter did the design on her iPad and then transferred to Microsoft word as a picture. As it had text, the image was “flipped” as I couldn’t find a mirror setting on my printer. Once printed, I cut round the images. I placed the t-shirt under a pillow case on a wooden chopping board. The iron was set to hottest setting but no steam. I positioned the transfer onto the t-shirt. As instructed I ironed for around 3-4 minutes. Pulled backing off and hey presto! Placed the wax paper on top (that comes in pack), ironed for around a minute to “set” it. It looks so professional! I did both front and back of each t-shirt. Really impressed and still have loads of paper left for other projects in the future…thinking about decorating bags next!

I’ve been using the PPD brand not regularly, but on and off throughout the years and usually get great results. Maybe it's because its been a few years since my last batch or maybe I was unlucky with the item sent out, but the last lot, whilst it printed okay, did not last very long over a number of washes - I mean I still have t shirts I’ve printed back in 2007 using this brand bought from here - yes they are *extremely* faded now as I wear them often, but have clearly been extensively in the wash over the years and really withstood time fantastically. Not quite sure what to make of it - I will probably still use these, since it still comes out looking great, depending of course the material and colours you are transferring on to. Last bought at 10.50 for a pack of 20 sheets.Over the years I have found the old type non steam irons (which heat up more than the newer ones) along with a towel and a very hard surface like kitchen worktop tend to work better. Still recommend this brand.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2024These are very good transfer papers. Follow the instructions and you'll get a good result. Don't over heat or the transfer goes yellow. If you can practice first you'll quickly learn from your mistakes.

It didn’t wash very well though so that was a shame.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2024I purchased these for printing on fabric. The process was easy with simple printing using my inkjet printer. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Having followed the instructions the backing paper is easy to peel and included is silicon paper to allow a great finish. The product leaves a durable clean image. The print looks like it will last well.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 July 2024Looks good but even before printing on it each sheet needs very careful handling - it marks easily and you can accidentally lift or mark the coating with your fingernails. Perhaps rubber gloves might help stop this.
Prints well and looks good. However, it took several goes with an iron to get all of the print to stick to the material. Several bits of the print stayed stuck to the backing paper. You have to keep going around and around with the iron for a very long time to get the whole print to stick to the material. It took several goes to get a good adhesion and a nice looking print.
Whilst it eventually works I would not buy this product again. Other brands we have used are stronger, easier to handle and lay the print onto the material much easier and complete.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good
PPD Inkjet Premium Iron-On White and Light Colored T-Shirt Transfers Paper is a game-changer for DIY enthusiasts like me. These 8.5x11-inch sheets (Pack of 20) have been a lifesaver when it comes to creating custom designs on my favorite clothing items.
The quality of the transfers is outstanding. The colors appear vibrant and true to the original design, whether it's a bold graphic or a delicate illustration. I've used other transfer papers before, but none have matched the crispness and durability of PPD's product.
What sets this transfer paper apart is its versatility. Whether I'm working with white or light-colored fabrics, the results are consistently impressive. It adheres well to the fabric and doesn't peel or crack even after multiple washes.
One thing I appreciate is the ease of use. The instructions are clear, and the printing process is hassle-free. It's great for creating personalized gifts, team shirts, or simply updating my wardrobe with unique designs.
In conclusion, PPD Inkjet Premium Iron-On White and Light Colored T-Shirt Transfers Paper has become my go-to choice for all my DIY apparel projects. It offers exceptional quality, versatility, and ease of use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a creative touch to their clothing.

5.0 out of 5 stars have used before, needed a top up
I have used these before, but in the 10 pack, and because I use them frequently I up'd the package to a 20 pack. they arrived SUPER fast, the instructions are all laid out on the sheets provided. if you're new to them I would def say do a trial print in a smaller area. sometimes the quality is not as clear as you may think, but they do a good job, and haven't lifted of any clothing. these ones are SPECIFICALLY for light clothing, not blacks or navy or any dark colours
