The quantitative genetic relationship between two populations of the fly Calliphoravicina was studied, specimens of which were collected from some areas of waist and southern Iraq.In this study, the geometric morphometric system for wing shape and size was used to detect quantitative genetic variations in the shape, size and area of the right wing of the fly specimens.Rate central size of the right wing was 1412.4, 1423.7 microns for specimensfrom the waist and southern regions of Iraq, respectively.The results of the statistical analysis using the F and T tests showed that there were no significant differences in rate right wing central size between the specimens of the study areas, except for one significant difference found in one of the insect specimens of the southern region than it is in the specimens of the waist region.It was also noted that there were very few significant differences in the shape and size of the right wing of some insect specimens for that area due to their impact on the different environmental conditions in the areas from which the specimens were collected when using ANOVA analysis.

Hair is one of the most common phenotypic features subjected to a number of variations e.g color, shape, morphology, and also one of the common and important biological components found at the scene of a crime. Phenotypic analysis and identification of hair can narrow down the pool of suspects without applying DNA based on expensive and time-consuming methods. In this study, we determined and classify the frequency Hoof hair color variation based on gender, age, and ethnicity. the phenotypic ratio of two categories of hair color; black and brown, in the population of district Lower-Dir. A total of 104 individuals were selected for the study population including 79 males (75.96%) and 25 females (24.03%) with an average age of 15-30 years. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for social sciences (IBM SPSS). Of the total 104 The results indicated that both black and brown colors were dominant in the second group (aged 21-25) by comparative analysis with the other groups. Black was the dominant color in the first (aged 15-20) and the third group (aged 26-30), followed by brown color the second most dominant in the first and third groups respectively. Black was overall the most common hair color found in the studied population. The results of the Pearson correlation matrix showed that gender and hair color are strongly correlated with the correlation coefficient for gender and hair being -0.73, which is significant at 10%. Further information can be obtained by expanding the research to more regions and ethnicities. Model-based analysis and DNA-based prediction are more reliable methods for the accurate identification of hair color.

The members of the Calliphoridae family (Insecta: Diptera) have a meaningful impact on human and animal health, and they also have forensic significance. The objective of this work was to provide information to the health system (medicalveterinary) about the life cycle of Lucilia purpurascens (Walker) (Diptera: Calliphoridae) by obtaining life tables that allow analysing its population fluctuations under various environmental conditions in the field and laboratory. For this aim, three replicates of each experience were generated, each consisting of full oviposition. Throughout all seasons of the year, the daily mortality of individuals, from eggs to adults, has been monitored in the field. This was contrasted with laboratory experiences using average seasonal climate data. Using the gathered information, life tables for both sexes were constructed. Most stages of development differed between the seasons investigated in the field and the laboratory, with Postfeeding Larvae and Pupa exhibiting a greater mortality. In all seasons, feeding larval mortality was extremely low. This study demonstrates that imago populations in nature are less abundant than those obtained by laboratory breeding. Despite this, the larvae are successful while eating, and this is the condition that has the biggest impact on the medical-veterinary environment.
