The objective of this study was to investigate the impact of facilities and equipment in the coaching processes of soccer practical session and also indicate the ways of intervention to the problem. This study was conducted on the Aba Buna sport club, Jimma. The data was collected from primary and secondary sources, which include qualitative and quantitative research method for the purposive. The sample size for the study includes 28 players and 2 coaches. The necessary information had collected through questionnaires which included both open ended and closed ended questions. There were twelve questions in each questionnaire for the players and coaches as well. Only one question is open ended. One week was given to filled questionnaire. The aim of our project is to take a system wide approach to preventing the machine accident. The system includes not just the machine and the operator; but rather it includes everything from the initial design of the machine to the training of every one that is responsible for any aspect of it, to the documentation of all changes to regular safety audits and a finally a corporate culture of safety first. Design is the part of a machine life where the greatest impact can be made in relation to avoiding accidents. The designer should ensure that the machine is safe to set up and operate,safe to install, safe to maintain, safe to repair and safe to decommission. Although safe operation is usually at the forefront of a designer mind safe maintenance and repair should also be a high priority. Around 50% of fatal accidents involving industrial equipment are associated with maintenance activities and design contributory factor in some 32% of these fatalities.

The article presents tools which are used in speech therapy. Using a basic model, this paper explains how to make a wooden device for the reproduction of pottery vessels in plaster, using
metallic templates in which its profiles have been cut (modelling board). It gives the measurements of each of the device's components
and the materials to be used. It describes the different steps in the reproduction process. Its real use is not reproduction, however, but as
an aid for the restoration of archaeological pottery. Finally the paper comments on the few different models that have been published.

It is a well-accepted fact that the protection of power system equipment is very crucial in order to ensure sustainability of electrical energy delivery. Each equipment is subjected to different types of surges and these surges can be of different amplitudes and frequencies. Depending on the severity of the transient surges, the equipment might experience very severe damages and also can cause further disruption to the overall electrical network. Failure of underground cables has always been a major concern for the electrical power distribution industries. Fault location and repair of faulty cables are expensive and time-consuming. Overvoltage phenomena such as line switching, load rejection and fault produce high frequency transients that could affect the performance of an underground cable and also the network that it is connected to. Therefore it is important to identify the factors that dictate the behaviour of a transient signal travelling along the cable. This paper will look into the simulation studies on transient behaviour when the characteristics representing the insulation of underground cables are varied. By identifying the causes that contribute to the change of cable characteristics, the effects they have on the simulated transient can be examined thoroughly. © 2013 IEEE.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of a novel crank system on laboratory time-trial cycling performance. The Rotor system makes each pedal independent from the other so that the cranks are no longer fixed at 180°. Twelve male competitive but non-elite cyclists (mean ± s: 35 ± 7 yr, Wmax = 363 ± 38 W, VO2peak = 4.5 ± 0.3 L·min(-1)) completed 6-weeks of their normal training using either a conventional (CON) or the novel Rotor (ROT) pedal system. All participants then completed two 40.23-km time-trials on an air-braked ergometer, one using CON and one using ROT. Mean performance speeds were not different between trials (CON = 41.7 km·h(-1) vs. ROT = 41.6 km·h(-1), P > 0.05). THE HYPOTHETICAL VALUE OF THE MILITARY EQUIPMENT OF A DACIAN WARLORD

The present paper is trying to assemble a series of results obtained through reenacting and craft experimental activities, and by connecting the results to well-known historical facts. The multiple experiments indicate an amount of about 7.000-7.500 denarii as an equivalent for the value of the complete set of equipment: sword with sheath, shield, spear, bow, arrows and quiver, dagger, chain mail, helmet, clothing, footwear, adornments, and a saddled horse.
The equipment production and maintenance costs imply a large volume of work and varied resources such as artisans, journeymen, time and raw materials. All these costs were at the time quite consistent and can be substantiated by the discovery of various amounts of coins. The quantity of local-made weaponry reveals a very vivid handicraft industry, pointing to a high intensity of military activities (campaigns, confrontations, war preparations, garrisons etc.) implying the existence of a war-controlled economy together with the required specializations.
It might be useful to ask ourselves if the Geto-Dacians reached a particular level of specialization in military equipment production. In a strongly hierarchical society, animated by an intense fighting spirit, the „weaponry craftsmen” guild must have stood at the bottom of the warrior elite as a decisive contributor for casting its power and authority throughout the territory. The results so far point to the conclusion that the Geto-Dacian society had reached an economic level capable of supporting a military caste, perfectly capable to manage and support its human and material resources.

Concrete pavements have been used for many years. However the recent advancements in the concrete paving technology have lead to better transportation facility. Here we shall discuss the history of concrete pavements and how it evolved from time to time. There is a disadvantage of concrete pavements, which is a high initial cost. However the concrete pavement proves to be more durable in the long run. Concrete pavements are generally used in almost all the developed countries, including some of the developing countries. Hence it is very important to find ways and techniques so that we can do concrete paving more effectively and efficiently. Many times these instruments are purchased without prior assessment of availability of technical knowledge and facilities for repairs and maintenance.  In most of the hospitals biomedical department is available and repairs are done by some technicians, biomedical engineers or it is done by the companies under contract.

Any health care unit’s efficiency is judged by its quality indicators. The availability and optimal utilization of medical equipment is important for improving the quality of health services.  Investments are made for the purchase, maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Inadequate management of this equipment will result in financial losses to the institution. It is generally seen that few of the hospitals in India attempt to evolve their own parameters either taking ideas from the established parameters or from their experience in Indian hospitals.

In present study, it was found that, overall process of care was good although there were some grey areas of sub-optimal utilization of resources.

The paper lays out an ontological enquiry into the ways of "being of equipment" as analysed by Heidegger and its role in understanding the design process. Equipments are things that make up our world. It is hard to imagine living without things because our existence is thingly textured. Heidegger"s analytics of equipment far exceeds the ontic sense of things. The argument is that there is a danger when designers limit themselves with the ontic understanding of equipment. Such an understanding coaxes us to believe in the half-baked truth about equipment-an isolated instance of a piece of artifact and leaves us ignorant of the equipment's character as a part of an equipment structure. An ontological reflection on equipment brings forth its relational nature and can be rewarding in several ways in improving its design process.

Integrated circuits (a.k.a chips or IC’s) are some of the most complex devices manufactured. Making chips is a complex process requiring hundreds of precisely controlled steps such as film deposition, etching and patterning of various materials until the final device structure is realized. Also, each chip goes through a huge number of complicated tests and inspection steps to ensure quality. In IC manufacturing, yield is defined as the percentage of chips in a finished wafer that pass all tests and function properly. Yield improvement translates directly into increased revenues. A humongous amount of data (Terabytes per day) is logged from the
equipment in the fab. This paper describes some applications of advanced data mining techniques used by chip makers and equipment suppliers in order to improve yield, match equipment, increase equipment output and also to predict the change in equipment performance before and after maintenance activities.

This toolkit provides practical guidance for making use of the “Indicators of Resilience in Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS)” in the field. The indicators are a tool for engaging local communities in adaptive management of the landscapes and seascapes in which they live. These spaces have so far been mainly traffic-related and can be used for other purposes such as power stations, warehouses, shelters, water tunnels, and underground urban environments. These tunnels are increasing for different purposes and uses, including transportation and water conduction tunnels for various uses. The implementing mechanized tunnel drilling methods are necessary because, reduced the time consuming for construction of tunnel, and at the same time difficulty of using traditional tunneling method in the complex structure. Therefore, today, the use of mechanized drilling methods by the TBM tunnel drilling machine has received much attention Equipping such a method, in addition to providing TBM drilling machine and construction of segment factory and entrance portal, requires specialized equipment, including supply of manpower for technicalexecutive units, supply of cooling and consuming water of TBM machine, supply of high pressure electric power consumption of TBM machine and tunnel lighting, supply of tunnel rinsing equipment, supply of tunnel ventilation equipment and spare parts and consumable parts of TBM device. The results are the feed back for the optimization of the maintenance procedures and methods and for a qualified assessment of lifetime. The study adopted the ex-post facto research design and was guided by five research questions. The population of the study comprised all the six business education departments of the colleges of education in Edo and Delta states of Nigeria. The entire population was studied in terms of adequacy of instructional resources. The data for the study was collected through direct observation using the NCCE benchmarks as inventory and analyzed using ratio and percentage scores. The purpose of this study was to assess the compliance of exercise therapy/fitness outfits in the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria to standard equipment requirements. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the conduct of the study using a sample size of 51centres/managers purposively selected from a population of 102 managers of fitness outfits in the six states of the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. A self-developed structured questionnaire and a facility checklist were used to collect the data. Data collected were analysed using frequency counts and percentages. The study revealed in this analysis that only treadmills (66.7%), bicycle ergometers (66.7%), dumbbells (84.3%) and weight racks (57.0%) met the benchmark minimum in more than 50% of the exercise therapy/fitness outfits surveyed in six states of the south-south geopolitical zone of Nigeria. This paper presents an analysis of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from refrigeration equipment. The refrigeration equipments use refrigerants such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons HFCs, which are believed to contribute the ozone depletion and global warming. Refrigeration equipment thus contributes indirectly through emission due to electricity consumption and directly due to the emission of refrigerants. Greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the burning of fossil fuels are quantified and presented in this paper. The calculation was carried out based on emissions per unit electricity generated and the type of fuel used. The direct emission of refrigerant was calculated based on emission factor and according to the procedure of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), USA. A study was conducted to evaluate the refrigerant losses to the atmosphere and the CO2 emission from fossil fuels to generate power to run the refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. In this paper, total appliance annual energy consumption by refrigerator-freezer and air conditioner as well as emission has been estimated for a period of 19 years (1997–2015) using the survey data. Energy savings and emission reductions achievable by raising thermostat set point temperature have been calculated for a period of 10 (i.e. 2005–2015) years.

In accordance with the presentation of material and technical support (MTO) in the form of a well-balanced synergetic system, based on the analysis of the most significant features and options for selecting its possible indicators, a matrix of basic requirements for the information system for predicting the technical state of equipment is formed. The possibility of timely delivery of material resources (MS) can be provided on the basis of predictive assessments of the technical condition of equipment, which determines the creation of an information system for forecasting the formation of MS supplies in the organization, taking into account the conditions and terms of operation of equipment, its maintenance and repair. Based on the above, with the help of the ISP, the corresponding MS applications can be formed to restore the operability of technical systems operated by organizations in various sectors of the national economy. Timely information based on monitoring the technical condition of equipment allows you to use the ISP to generate MS deliveries based on the state of equipment for the next month, the number of faulty or decommissioned  equipment for the year, the needs for spare parts for a specific month of the year, taking into account seasonal fluctuations in the working condition of equipment. Based on the organization's monitoring of all types of equipment for the specified period of time, forecast indicators were determined, taking into account which applications for the supply of MS were prepared.
