In You Are the Universe, the contemplative endocrinologist Deepak Chopra and the MIT physicist Menas Kafatos offer a groundbreaking, lucid work on consciousness that is refreshingly accessible without relying upon mathematical language or overspecialized jargon. In summary, their book is a serious attempt to address the fundamental contemporary question, “Is the universe made of matter that learned to think, or is the universe made of mind that created matter?” (Chopra & Kafatos, 2017, p. 154). By the end of the book Chopra and Kafatos have gone so far as to argue that not only is the universe created and sustained by an underlying mind but that we are the universe, we are that mind. In a real sense, they declare, we as an organic species have co-created this universe.

This essay is a survey of the field of consciousness studies, its history, scope, and a little about its future. It’s principally focus is on Western thinking about consciousness beginning in classical times and continuing down to the present. It highlights and briefly describes major streams of thought including ideas from ancient Greece, German Idealism, British Empiricism, 20 century European phenomenology, and important contemporary areas of research and scholarship. These include American pragmatism, developmental psychology, transpersonalism, analytic philosophy, computationalism, neural networks, and physics. The essay also briefly explores possible future trends in the study of consciousness.

This paper provides an initial, multidimensional map of the complex relationships among consciousness, mind, brain and the external world in a way that follows both the contours of everyday experience and the findings of science. It then demonstrates how this reflexive monist map can be used to evaluate the utility and resolve some of the oppositions of the many other “isms” that currently populate consciousness studies. While no conventional, one-dimensional “ism” such as physicalism can do justice to this web of relationships, physicalism, functionalism, dualism, neutral monism, and dual-aspect monism can all be seen to provide useful ways of understanding different aspects of the relationships among consciousness, mind, brain and the external world when these are viewed in either a first- or a third-person way from within this web of relationships by sentient creatures such as ourselves. For example, physicalism and functionalism provide a useful understanding of consciousness, mind, brain and external world when viewed from a third-person perspective, while neutral monism provides a useful way of understanding first- versus third-person views of external phenomena. On the other hand, dual-aspect monism provides a useful way of understanding first- versus third-person views of mind, including Eastern versus Western views of mind.  Dual-aspect monism also provides a useful understanding of the “unconscious ground of being” that gives rise to, supports and embeds all these observable phenomena. For an integrated understanding one needs to understand how these phenomena and relationships combine into an integrated whole.

Understanding Consciousness, second edition provides a unique survey and evaluation of consciousness studies, along with an original analysis of consciousness that combines scientific findings, philosophy and common sense.

A discussion of the vibration mechanics behind the advent of consciousness of many sentient souls interacting with one another has been presented. It is emphasized that consciousness vibration is the most important phenomenon triggering and spearheading what we commonly refer to as organic ‘life.’ A brief account of the phenomenon of collective (unity) consciousness has been explicated, with more details being deferred to the publication of a companion paper on the subject matter. It is elucidated that the power of consciousness is not just confined to creationism or the necessity of ensuring the longevity of what has been created by a single being; consciousness is superpositional in nature, which means, it may be accentuated through the vibrations of the mind of many sentient beings who resonate harmoniously and synchronously with one another. In this respect, consciousness of one sentient being influences the consciousness of one or many other individuals. This is indeed, how we form the matrix of our reality. Moreover, consciousness has the propensity of multiplying or expanding, which is why the Prime Creator has only demanded one endeavor from all sentient beings, which is to strive to expand their consciousness. Thus, we are all potentially ‘consciousness generators.’ Accordingly, a discussion of the parameter of ‘consciousness expansibility coefficient’ introduced by the author before has been given, herein. It is explicated that the natural frequency of conscious vibration is proportional to the square root of the consciousness expansibility coefficient. In fact, the consciousness expansibility coefficient of a sentient soul describes a trait (or quality) of the soul that is analogous to the ‘stiffness’ of an elastic helical spring that could be loaded with life’s karmic forces. In this respect, it epitomizes the resilience of the soul to be able to withhold such forces. Moreover, it describes the capability of a sentient being to acquire more spiritual education, thus adding to the frequency of its consciousness. Clearly, the more resilient the soul of the conscious being is, the more propensity it has for enlightenment and ‘consciousness expansibility,’ without being prone to instability or buckling, falling out of Light. However, unlike the stiffness characteristic of a non-sentient material or being that acts as a ‘sink,’ it always undergoes a ‘conservative’ operation in which it never dissipates energy as long as the sentient being is allowed to experience life within a Tri-Wave or an open loop of free energetic dispensation as it is usually supplied by the progenitor God-SOURCE. The structure of the soul is so resilient that it can absorb and transform the residual inelastic karmic energies stored WITHIN, ensuring full recoverability. More specifically, a resilient sentient is capable of redeeming all its accumulated residual internal karmic energy stored WITHIN, through clearing and cleansing at a later date, without any eventual possibility of damage or degradation. This is in concert with what the author has introduced as the concept of ‘sentient vibration’ by way of a ‘conservative’ energetic transformation through returning to its initial equilibrium state of vibration in which it preserves its state of consciousness expansibility or natural frequency of consciousness. But, if the entity excessively expands away from its original equilibrium state (referred to as the Zero-Point Field), it may have to permanently shift its position from the initial Zero-Point Energetic Field (‘Neural Network of God,’ which also signifies the open loop or the energetic fountain supply provided by the God-SOURCE). This way, it behaves as a helical spring undergoing inelastic deformation, expanding away from the open loop energetic supply of God and eventually separating itself from the God-SOURCE (referred to as becoming ‘fallen’), changing to a non-sentient (non-organic) being.  And, the clearing and cleansing of the soul’s emotional body of the accumulated residual inelastic karma culminates in effectively restoring its diminished consciousness expansibility, and thus, its frequency of consciousness. It may even lead to effectively raising its natural frequency to its full potential, being capable to Ascend, permanently shifting its anchored equilibrium (domicile) state to a higher dimension. It is then said that the soul undergoes syntropy (consciousness expansion), effectively increasing its propinquity with respect to the SOURCE.  This is referred to as the state of ‘positive karma’ as opposed to ‘negative karma,’ a scenario in which the soul through the expenditure of entropic energies begins to deflect away from the God-SOURCE (diminishing its propinquity), effectively leading to reducing its consciousness expansibility and natural frequency of consciousness vibration. And, through syntropic energetic experience one eventually undergoes ‘Ascension’ through sequentially transmigrating its consciousness and anchoring itself to the higher (more inner) dimensions of consciousness. Note that the soul constitution (matter-antimatter), however, remains virtually constant. Thus, for all practical purposes, the natural frequency of the soul is determined by its extent of consciousness expansibility coefficient, which could constantly change. Ascension occurs when the body becomes crystalline, being comprised of a perfect structure without the presence of any defects or the possibility of ever developing any, rendering the body to become ageless. And, mathematically, crystallinity is synonymous with raising the ‘consciousness expansibility coefficient.’ And, with increasing consciousness expansibility coefficient, one becomes multidimensional, capable of exploring even higher dimensional realms of consciousness, with the dynamic position of equilibrium about which one usually vibrates being shifted higher or deeper in innerspace, gaining more propinquity with respect to the SOURCE. And, all this demands impeccability and gaining spiritual mastery. Since the prime directive specifies consciousness expansion, it is incumbent on the soul to acquire experiential endeavors that culminate in overall contraction to, versus deflection from, the SOURCE. And, this means positive karma, procured through creational endeavors and through benevolence and application of the principles of compassion and unconditional love and effectively having reverence for the provisions of the Law of One. Another aspect of consciousness expansibility is triggered through awareness and interaction of souls with one another in which one Soul Aspect acts as the Beacon of Light, spiritually awakening and enlightening its other Soul Aspects. Accordingly, the consciousness of a sentient being affects the consciousness of all other sentient beings, provided that they become aware of each other’s presence. Accordingly, the author has introduced a new parameter dubbed as the ‘consciousness expansibility linkage coefficient k_ij’, when the consciousness of one sentient entity i is envisaged to affect the state of consciousness of the sentient being j. Finally, equations are presented herein that describe the overall natural frequency and consciousness expansibility of a collective.

It is explicated that human brain functions as ‘radio’ capable of projecting thought and emotional frequencies that may be categorized to operate on two distinct bands: the low frequency band (similar to the AM band) and the high frequency band (analogous to the FM band). The low frequency band concentrates on the affairs indigenous to the physical time-space continuum that are spearheaded by the active (physical) conscious mind that are piloted by the ‘rational’ brain. This is referred to as the ‘ego mind’ that is focused on a single reality, the one we identify our SELF with, the life sojourns that we are currently consciously experiencing and experimenting with. The high frequency band, on the other hand, operates in a much broader sense through the sub-conscious mind, which is of ethereal nature, traversing other dimensions of reality that may be classified as ‘parallel’ or ‘alternate,’ comprised of a multitude of consciousness states ordinarily not perceived by the physical brain. It is clarified that such parallel or alternate continuums of time and space are just as ‘real’ as the one we actively perceive by our ‘logical’ brain. In fact, we traverse and experience these dimensions of consciousness every night in dream state, when we are able to ‘turn off’ our physical consciousness and switch on our sub-conscious mind. These dimensional realities or alternate continuums of time and space are part of the holographic software programs of consciousness that run simultaneously with the one in our physical reality in what is referred to as the NOW moment. It is elucidated that we are all each part of a family of ‘soul aspects’ that are governed by a central higher dimensional consciousness named as our HIGHERSELF or soul. And, although the central soul or our HIGHERSELF is simultaneously conscious of all our life sojourns in all the parallel and alternate continuums of time and space, we purposefully remain unaware of our other concurrent ‘soul aspects’ in the interest of obtaining objective and unbiased life experiences. This condition also suits our limited capacity as biological entities to process all our life experience data due to our low light quotient-natural frequency.  And, once our natural frequency is uplifted as to meet the threshold required for obtaining ‘full consciousness,’ we come to the realization that we have the power to enter any hologram of time and space and willfully improvise and live our lives based upon any historical character reflected in the ‘Akashic Records’ that we wish (e.g. Mozart, Da Vinci, Tesla, etc.).  This way, we can go in the ‘past’ and create new parallel timelines from then on, adding to the repertory of already existing Akashic Records. In this regard, the distinction among past, present, and future become ambiguous at best, with all transpiring within the same moment of ‘NOW.’

Alchemy is not only the origin of systematic experimentation and the scientific method but also the first attempt to create a science of consciousness. Those early philosophers of nature treated mental contents as objective phenomena, and they believed the universal operations they used in their laboratories could transform a dark leaden mind into a shining golden one. Alchemists expressed mental states and levels of consciousness in terms of the basic materials of their world – elements and metals, acids and caustic solutions, compounds and gases. Although they spoke of metals, retorts, and furnaces, they were really talking about changes taking place in their own minds and bodies. The strange creatures and complex symbols pictured in the alchemists' flasks were attempts to identify the archetypal forces churning in the hermetically sealed vessel of the brain. The Hermetic philosophy behind alchemy taught that our thoughts and feelings are the thoughts and feelings of the whole universe, and that intrinsic perspective generated deep insight into the structure of mind. Alchemists viewed consciousness as a natural force that could be harnessed through a marriage of logic and intuition, a union of objective and subjective realities. Like modern seekers of a unified field theory, alchemists sought one true philosophy of universal principles that were as valid in the laboratory as they were in their own minds and souls – and in the One Mind of the cosmos. Alchemists tried to influence the outcome of their experiments by purifying their thoughts and becoming one with the quantum-like First Matter of the substance at hand. The resulting cauldron of ideas on mind and matter leads to a truer understanding of the Philosopher's Stone – not as an object but a state of mind.

This paper addresses a quantum-informational holographic model of consciousness based on the holonomic neural networks of Karl Pribram, in the holographic quantum theory developed by David Bohm, and in the non-locality property of the quantum field described by Umezawa. We consider this model an interconnection between brain and mind by means of quantum microsites named dendrons and psychons, as proposed by Sir John Eccles. A dynamic concept of consciousness is assumed as a holoinformational flux interconnecting the holonomic informational quantum brain dynamics, with the quantum informational holographic nature of the universe. This self-organizing flux is generated by the holographic mode of treatment of neuronal information and can be optimized through altered states of consciousness that underlie the coherence of cerebral waves. In brain mapping studies performed during the occurrence of these harmonic states the spectral array of brain waves is highly synchronized and perfectly ordered like a unique harmonic wave, as if all frequencies of all neurons from all cerebral centers play the same symphony. This highly coherent brain state generates the non-local holographic distributed informational cortical field of consciousness that interconnect the entire human brain with the quantum-holographic universe. The comprehension of this holonomic quantum informational nature of brain-mind-universe interconnectedness allows us to solve the old mind-matter Cartesian hard problem in a more transdisciplinary and integrated paradigm.

The question of how buddha nature (tathāgatagarbha) relates to Yogācāra psychology, and this tradition's idea of a substratum consciousness (ālayavijñāna) in particular, has long been a focus of intense discussion and debate among Buddhist scholars, both within and beyond the borders of India. Carl Jung’s theory of Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle is defined as the “…occurrence of a certain psychic state with one or more external events which appear as meaningful parallels to the momentary subjective state…” Fundamental to this proposal, developed with physicist Wolfgang Pauli, is the profound assertion that the acausal nature of synchronicity is “equal in rank to causality as a principle of explanation” (Jung, 1960, pp. 435,441). The doorway into continental phenomenology and the doorway into the understanding of the praxis of Dzogchen is our experiential focus on our awareness and our experiential lived experience within our innate experiential field  of our pre-reflective non conceptual knowingness of our own awareness. The innate awareness field is our direct knowingness of Being. The direct knowingness of our awareness is our primal openness to Being. Awareness is our  knowingness of Being. Heidegger called this knowingness
Da Sein. Our awareness knows Being non dualistically.

Our knowing of our awareness is distinct from our mind's knowing of phenomena and from our mind's knowing the appearance of phenomena, and the forms of  phenomena. Our mind knows subject and otherness. Our mind knows the essence of phenomena.. The distinction between our ordinary dualistic mind knowing of phenomenological forms and our primordial non dualistic non conceptual direct awareness of Being is of foundational importance in both Dzogchen and Existential Phenomenology.

The advent of seeding of the Nebadon Universe has been discussed. It is explicated that this event was carried out by the Angelic Oraphim individuals of highly refined crystalline consciousness who have happened to have completed one or more full course of evolutional rounds in similar universes, who ventured in seeding a ‘raw’ uninhabited domain called Nebadon, possibly having taken such a task with respect to setting up other new universes before. Accordingly, these beings are referred to as the Nebadon ‘Founders’ who after seeding Nebadon have made full commitment to uphold the Right of Sovereignty and Free Will of all its inhabitants, and function in the capacity of ‘Guardians’ ensuring that the provisions of the Law of One are upheld and revered, making every attempt to ensure that the new inhabitants of Nebadon will have an opportunity to naturally evolve after having attained appropriate requisite frequencies-Light quotients via experimenting the various sojourns of life streamed upon them as natural-organic holographic programs of reality to choose from to experiment with within varied space-time dimensions within the Nebadon Time Matrix, leading to their consciousness evolution. It is further elucidated that there is no doubt that the Guardian-Founders of Nebadon Universe took this upon themselves as to create a highly special Angelic Oraphim being referred to as human beings with the potential of 12D DNA strand crystalline silicate-matrix genetics to eventually take up the responsibility to serve as the new Guardians of Nebadon Universe. Furthermore, there can be no doubt that this project referred to as a ‘Turaneusiam’ human prototype was to be carried out on the 5D Earth (Tara) within Nebadon’s Second Harmonic Universe with 12 of highest extra – transdimensional beings volunteering to offer one strand  of their DNA as to serve devising such a Turaneusiam prototype. It was agreed by the Guardian-Founders that the new Angelic human with the newly designed 12D crystalline silicate-based DNA would have all their 12 DNA strands initially assembled, yet only 5 fully activated to have the requisite accreted frequencies-Light quotients to function being commensurate with the 5D consciousness field of 5D Tara. It was envisioned that the humans would initially take the guardianship of the 5D Tara, and then progressively learn to activate the rest of their 7D crystalline DNA strands climbing the steps of the devised 12D Grid-Tree of Life eventually attaining their status of full 12D Strand crystalline consciousness as the first level Oraphim and subsequently would take up the Guardianship of the entire Nebadon universe, relieving the Guardian-Founders of the task of overseeing the consciousness affairs of the Nebadon Universe so they can perhaps move on to creating-seeding new ‘raw’ and uninhabited universes. Accordingly, the seeding program started in Lyra known as the ‘Cradle of Civilization’ through a system of white holes referred to as the triad  universal stargates known as the 12D Aramatena, 11D Aveyon, and 10D Vega. Unfortunately due to a parasitic-vampiric rogue and nefarious group of individuals and their ancestors collectively now referred to as ‘negative aliens,’ this project did not fully succeed, specifically with establishing Nebadon Universe as a new God’s World conforming to the Law of One, or its envisioned evolutional plans for its inhabitants including the human beings. And, although it is not clear that, indeed, the human Angelic project was devised from the beginning and prior to seeding the Nebadon Universe, or it became a necessity afterwards, there can be no doubt that the human being as the Crown Jewel of all Nebadon inhabitants were designed as to try to repair the rip created in the Nebadon space-time, and after the destruction of the principle triad stargates and its natural-organic system of Time Matrix by the negative aliens. Clearly, the human DNA serves as the storehouse of knowledge regarding the genetic details of all beings within Nebadon Universe, as well as a library source for God’s consciousness mechanics. Furthermore, human being’s morphogenetic system is the only one that can connect back Nebadon to the Zero-Point Field and the Divine Mind of the Prime creator, once attaining back its full crystallinity trait. An overview of the historical accounts leading to the origination of the Shadow Selves during the Gaian Timelines that have been operating within the 9 lowest dimensions of the Nebadon physical universe ever since, when our higher dimensional aspects of the planet (Hyperborea, Polaris) were first invaded by the negative aliens via waging the Electric-Gaian Wars against us that proceeded their earlier Lyran-Orion warring exploits, has been presented. Accordingly, the Polarians became extinct at the end of these wars, also putting an end to the so-called Golden Age of humanity. At this time, the fragmented pieces of the Polarians as well as some of the Hyperboreans who fell during the same wars were taken to the Wesa System by the Black Hole Entities in order to be closely researched, leading to the reversal of our consciousness that gave rise to the calamity of Metatronic Consciousness Reversal System. Accordingly, they devised a distorted and False Time Matrix and installed it in our planetary Grid (as well as other planetary spheres subsequently collectively giving rise to the ‘Black Magic Grids’ ) that is referred to as the Yahweh Matrix, which is based upon a 10D False Tree of Life (such as the Sephiroth worshiped by the Jewish faith), instead of the usual 12D Grid or Universal Tree of Life or Time Matrix. Accordingly, the schematic of this system is based upon Vesica Pisces, a system of two intersecting spheres passing through the center of either other. This represents a closed circuit Bi-wave Energetic system, with the energies flowing from the victim to the aggressor only that is contrary to the usual Trinity Tri-Wave structure comprised of three spheres that exchange energies among one another within an open loop of free energies. However, the Metatronic Reversal System manages to ‘steal’ magnetic energies during the contracting phase to the SOURCE that represents its return to the SOURCE, thus gradually making a consciousness offspring become more distant from the SOURCE with each sequential intervals of vibration. This is why humanity has become so disconnected from their inner spirit and their higher dimensional aspects (HIGHERSELF) that represents their seed of consciousness that were planted by the SOURCE (or the its liaisons the Guardian-Founders) as ITS offspring, to spiritually nourish via finding enlightenment to grow, leading to their consciousness expansion, transmigration to higher dimensions of consciousness, and procure Ascension. And, indeed, the missing two spherical dimension represent this scheme of magnetic energy pilfering, with the energies being constantly directed towards the Orion Constellation and their Black Hole Storage Energy Moloch Tanks. Accordingly, this manuscript begins by providing an introductory narrative with respect to the first and second seedlings of humans giving rise to the first 4 root races. Then the consequences of the Electric-Gain Wars on the Gaian Timeline Matrix and the Fall of the Hyperboreans  is discussed. Finally, the discourse ends with an account of a Conflict that occurred over Re-Seeding of Humanity. As for the account of formation of the Gaian Shadow or Phantom Body, the discussion has been carried out in a companion paper entitled “Modern Psychology 101: On the Historical Perspectives of the Origin of the ‘Shadow Selves’ - Part III: The Hyperborean Holocaust Timelines and the Formation of the Gaian Phantom Body.”

The highly psychoactive molecule N,N -dimethyltryptamine (or simply DMT), is found naturally occurring in the brains of humans, mammals, and some other animals, as well as in a broad range of species of the plant kingdom. Although speculative, neurochemical research suggests that DMT may be made in the pineal gland, and it is hypothesised that, as much as melatonin helps activate sleep cycles, DMT activates dreaming, and may also be implicated in other natural visionary states such as mystical experience, near-death experience (NDE), spontaneous psi and psychosis. Amazonian shamans have made use of this chemical for its visionary properties for thousands of years, most likely, and take it as part of a decoction frequently called ayahuasca, which translates from Quechua as “vine of the spirits” or “vine of the dead”. The psychedelic brew is taken because it gives rise to extraordinary mental phenomena that have shamanic and supposed healing qualities, such as synaesthesia, ostensible extra-dimensional percepts, out-of-body experiences, psi experiences and perhaps most commonly, encounters with discarnate entities. When described by independent and seemingly naïve DMT participants the entities encountered tend to vary in detail but often belong to one of a very few similar types, with similar behavioural characteristics. For instance, mischievous shapeshifting elves, preying mantis alien brain surgeons and jewel-encrusted reptilian beings, who all seem to appear with baffling predictability. This opens up a wealth of questions as to the reality (i.e., the ontology) of these entities. The discussion of the phenomenology and ontology of these entities mixes research from parapsychology, ethnobotany and psychopharmacology – the fruits of science – with the foamy custard of folklore, anthropology, mythology, cultural studies and related disciplines. Hopefully however, given the varied readership of this journal, it won’t prove to be a trifle too interdisciplinary.

In my Ph.D. dissertation, I described a way of achieving anti-aging through consciousness projection into a more advanced parallel universe. Upon reaching the "point of no return," individuals have reported that time seems to flow much slower for them, resulting in anti-aging effects on both the mind and body.

The discussion of the Guardian-Founders’ seeding the Nebadon Universe is continued that makes a particular reference to the Cradle of Lyra with the so-called ‘Royal Houses of Lyra,’ 13D-15D Light Beings who are accredited with seeding the Nebadon Universe through their so-called incarnations in the Nebadon’s 4th Harmonic Universe. These are androgenous beings composed of crystalline liquid Light that upon anchoring their consciousness on a form of their congealed energies forming the fabric of the space-times within the 4th Harmonic Universe that serve as a scaffold comprised of matter-antimatter, give them the possibility to have a form of embodiment that acts as silhouette or vibration sheets of Light. And, among these groups were the 15D Emerald Order Elohei who incarnated as the hominid White Felines Elohim angelic beings referred to as the Anuhazi who incarnated through the 12th Stargate in Lyra-Aramatena, as well as the 13D Amethyst Order of Solar Rishi comprised of Cetacean, Avian Pegasus people, and aquatic Bra-ha-Rama who incarnated through the 11th Stargate in Lyra-Aveyon, and the 14D Gold Order Seraph RA Confederacy who seeded the Seraphim Cerez Avian bird people and Aethien Mantis Tall Whites of the Solar Rishi through the 10th Stargate in Lyra-Vega. Note that this constitutes three embodiments that are always used to hold the tone sequence in matter-antimatter as the base, overtone, and resonator, or positive, negative, and neutral components. Accordingly, all this, is consistent with the Cosmic Order of Trinity that manifests as a Threefold Founder Flame making the Ray Aspect of the Universe. Of course, due to the reptilian negative aliens intruders, these ‘forms’ hybridized with the reptilians and downgraded to form a variety of hybrid negative aliens races. At the same time, some of the benevolent Founder races had to step down into lower forms such as, for example, the Azurites that were formed from the hybridization of these compassionate Light beings who also created the Interdimensional Free World Council (IAFW) to deal with the problem of reptilian negative aliens infiltration as well as revering and upholding, the provisions of the Law of One, ensuring that all lost souls stuck in the negative aliens Phantom Timelines of Reality are returned to the God’s World, whose right of Free Will and Sovereignty is observed, as well as they are aided through spiritual educational means, etc. to be able to accrete enough higher dimensional frequencies to Ascend to the higher dimensions via acquiring appropriate consciousness expansion and evolution. Science is a field of study based on the Newtonian paradigm of objective, measurable and provable facts pioneered by experts such as Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Francis Bacon, and others (Darity, Jr., 2008). Because of this experts of the scientific professions tend toward negating subjective evidence for truth that is not based on procedures that follow the scientific method. Spirituality, on the other hand, is a study of the non-linear, abstract and experiential reality of one’s existence. Practitioners within this field (e.g. spiritual counselors, yoga teachers, meditation guides, Chinese medicine) frequently provide articles and lectures of successful treatments of a variety of forms of disease as proof of evidence that practices, such as acupuncture, work (Stern, 2014) while others still continue to argue against its validity.

The purpose of this article is to provide explanations through consciousness research including reasons why spiritual and Eastern healing practices can never be “provable” in the context of evidence-based, or empirical research, though providing evidence in the form of validity experientially in numbers. It is the authors hope to provide sufficient explanations for the reader that he or she may begin to observe and witness for oneself the appropriateness of context in providing evidence as proof or validity for science and spirituality.

If the Orch/OR model of consciousness is correct, then there must be a physical bridge between the objective reduction (OR) of tubulin states in the microtubule and coherence in the brain that represents thought processes.  Yet there is no mechanism yet discovered that supplies the necessary coherence. There is not even any indication of how that coherence occurs except through quantum entanglement, which is unacceptable as an explanation. Instead of looking at quantum explanations, it is time to look at and seriously consider a classical explanation for the coherence. In this respect each microtubule can be considered an LRC or basic radio tuning circuit based upon its configuration as a bio-induction coil. In other words, an axon can act as a system of multi-LRC circuits with the outer Axon wall as a capacitor and the microtubules as inductors. The LRC circuit is the primary tuning circuit in all electromagnetic transmitters and receivers. A large number of neurons could then develop and maintain coherence at  specific resonant frequencies within a group for a specific amount of time.

Every day we, as human beings, maneuver through a myriad of circumstances in our individual and collective life spaces. Central to our experiences is the nature, kind, and quality of our relationships. When we encounter differences (racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, economic, sexual orientation, the mentally and physically challenged), a common issue that often emerges in our experiences is the extent to which we use tolerance in relating to other people and circumstances. For this reason, I want to discuss the nature of tolerance and its limitations, and how to move beyond tolerance by consciously using Universal Energy Laws, discernment, and what I call harmonious relationship principles.  So, while extraordinary admirable, what does tolerance actually mean with regard to one's inner state of consciousness?
