Climate, Class & Empire: Towards An Ecology Of Revolution2024 •
As Sixties radicals often argued, the issue is not the issue. Of course the core problem is capitalism, and the “solution” – the higher synthesis – is socialism. By capitalism, I mean something quite specific – and different from populist notions of capitalism as an economic system or an aggregation of corporate power. For socialists, capitalism is a structure of class power whose reproduction flows through the law of value’s gravitational field: the abstract imperative to accumulate capital. That implies, and necessitates, imperialism, in Lenin’s and Luxemburg’s distinctive formulations but also more broadly, as a geopolitics of accumulation. As Marx demonstrates, at the core of it all is a labor-metabolic antagonism through which all class societies are mediated. Simply: the capitalist world-ecology is a logic and pattern of class struggle in the web of life. Its gravedigger is the planetary proletariat, a combined and uneven configuration of paid and unpaid work, performed by humans and the rest of nature: proletariat, femitariat and biotariat. LAS MISIONES CON GUARANÍS: RELACIÓN RESPETUOSA ENTRE PUEBLOS The Guarani Missions: Respectful Relations Between Peoples2024 •
Las misiones (reducciones) jesuitas con los guaranís resultaron ser un tipo de relación alternativa entre el colectivo español y el nativo, una relación respetuosa con las personas y su cultura. Este artículo estudia el concepto de reducción y el contexto en el que surgieron, cómo la Compañía tuvo que hacer cambios en su legislación para asumirlas, lo que se hizo como una excepción temporal que se perpetuó. Así llego a desarrollar una red de 30 pueblos, cuyo final fue el Tratado de Límites (1750) entre España y Portugal. Finaliza con algunas reflexiones sobre la valoración de esta experiencia misionera y sus ruinas. Se ha utilizado una selección bibliográfica de la mucha existente.

La Colección Benjamín Muniz Barreto ingresó en la década del 30 al Museo de La Plata y aún en la actualidad es considerada como una de las colecciones más destacadas del mismo. Se originó a partir de numerosas expediciones financiadas por el coleccionista Muniz Barreto que se llevaron a cabo entre 1919 y 1929 en el noroeste argentino, principalmente en las provincias de Jujuy, Tucumán y Catamarca. Está constituida por 12.000 piezas arqueológicas que incluyen material cerámico, lítico, malacológico, vegetal, textil, entre otros. Su importancia reside, en la minuciosa documentación asociada que acompaña a estas piezas y que da cuenta de las labores realizadas durante el desarrollo de las expediciones (libretas y diarios de campo, fotografías, negativos, mapas, planos, bocetos, dibujos, acuarelas, entre otros), además de las impresiones fotográficas enmarcadas que serán objeto del presente trabajo.Red de Museos de la Universidad Nacional de La Plat

Dân tộc và các đặc trưng của dân tộc Chúng ta có thể hiểu khái niệm dân tộc ở 2 nghĩa phổ biến: thứ nhất, khái niệm dân tộc dùng để chỉ một cộng đồng người có mối liên hệ chặt chẽ và bền vững, có chung sinh hoạt kinh tế, có ngôn ngữ riêng, văn hoá có những đặc thù, xuất hiện sau bộ lạc, bộ tộc, kế thừa và phát triển cao hơn những nhân tố tộc người ở bộ lạc, bộ tộc và thể hiện thành ý thức tự giác tộc người của dân cư cộng đồng đó. Thứ hai, khái niệm dân tộc dùng để chỉ một cộng đồng người ổn định làm thành nhân dân một nước, có lãnh thổ quốc gia, có nền kinh tế thống nhất, có ngôn ngữ chung và có ý thức về sự thống nhất của mình, gắn bó với nhau bởi quyền lợi chính trị, kinh tế, truyền thống văn hoá và truyền thống đấu tranh chung trong suốt quá trình lịch sử lâu dài. Như vậy, với nghĩa thứ nhất, dân tộc là một bộ phận của quốc gia, chẳng hạn: dân tộc Kinh, dân tộc Tày, dân tộc Bana, dân tộc Ê-đê…ở Việt Nam. Với nghĩa thứ hai, dân tộc là toàn bộ nhân dân của quốc gia đó, chẳng hạn: dân tộc Nga, dân tộc Trung Hoa, dân tộc Ấn Độ, dân tộc Việt Nam…-Những đặc trưng cơ bản của một dân tộc: + Thứ nhất, dân tộc là một cộng đồng có chung sinh hoạt về kinh tế. Trong một dân tộc, nhân tố kinh tế-xã hội được biểu hiện hết sức mạnh mẽ. C.Mác và Ph.Ăngghen đã chứng minh rằng nhân tố cơ bản dẫn tới việc chuyển từ hình thức cộng đồng trước dân tộc sang dân tộc là tác nhân kinh tế. Những mối liên hệ kinh tế thường xuyên và mạnh mẽ đặc biệt là mối liên hệ thị trường đã làm tăng tính thống nhất, tính ổn định, tính bền vững của cộng đồng người đông đảo sống trong một lãnh thổ rộng lớn. Trong lịch sử nhân loại, dân tộc điển hình là dân tộc tư sản, dân tộc này bao gồm các giai cấp, tầng lớp khác nhau, trong đó tư sản và vô sản là đối lập nhau về địa vị kinh tế, song hai giai cấp này có quan hệ kinh tế chặt chẽ trong một hệ thống kinh tế duy nhất hình thành trên địa bàn dân tộc, đó là hệ thống kinh tế tư bản chủ nghĩa. Thiếu sự cộng đồng chặt chẽ, bền vững về kinh tế thì cộng đồng người chưa phải là dân tộc.
