Fire prevention and fighting is significantly important to protect the properties of the State, the organizations and the lives, the health and properties of the citizens in all countries. Every year, the world is seriously affected by fires and explosions. Therefore, the application of advanced science and technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI) in fire prevention and fighting has been concerned by the governments of countries. However, the results and its application are still limited and uneven in countries and regions. This article presents the role, the practice, applicability and recommendations of AI application in fire fighting and prevention in the current situation

How Intelligence Can Map Wildfire Risk and Help Reduce Catastrophes2019 •
Many analysts project that wildfires will become bigger and more destructive as a result of the interface between climate factors and populations. Millions of people live in areas at high risk for wildfires throughout the North American west. Similar risks also present themselves with other hazards, including storms and floods that can devastate communities and trigger a need for reconstruction in the aftermath of disaster. As discussed, the finance and banking sector is a core –albeit often unrecognized – stakeholder in disaster recovery and mitigation efforts. This is true not only for fires but all community resilience initiatives. There is a need to break down institutional and disciplinary barriers to build (or re-build) sustainable and resilient community structures since innovative urban financing can make cities stronger.

A Synergistic Approach to Wildfire Prevention and Management Using AI, ML, and 5G Technology in the United StatesOver the past few years, wildfires have become a worldwide environmental emergency, resulting in substantial harm to natural habitats and playing a part in the acceleration of climate change. Wildfire management methods involve prevention, response, and recovery efforts. Despite improvements in detection techniques, the rising occurrence of wildfires demands creative solutions for prompt identification and effective control. This research investigates proactive methods for detecting and handling wildfires in the United States, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and 5G technology. The specific objective of this research covers proactive detection and prevention of wildfires using advanced technology; Active monitoring and mapping with remote sensing and signaling leveraging on 5G technology; and Advanced response mechanisms to wildfire using drones and IOT devices. This study was based on secondary data collected from government databases and analyzed using descriptive statistics. In addition, past publications were reviewed through content analysis, and narrative synthesis was used to present the observations from various studies. The results showed that developing new technology presents an opportunity to detect and manage wildfires proactively. Utilizing advanced technology could save lives and prevent significant economic losses caused by wildfires. Various methods, such as AI-enabled remote sensing and 5G-based active monitoring, can enhance proactive wildfire detection and management. In addition, super intelligent drones and IOT devices can be used for safer responses to wildfires. This forms the core of the recommendation to the fire Management Agencies and the government.

Editorial: Embodied bounded rationality2023 •
In the last 25 years, a new foundational perspective has emerged in the cognitive sciences under the title of embodied cognition. The core of embodied cognition can be expressed by the general hypothesis that cognitive processes are fundamentally rooted in the morphological traits and sensorimotor and affective systems of the human body. Thinking is based primarily on modal embodied processes rather than amodal ones. These lines of research more or less explicitly recognize the centrality of the embodied variables in economic psychology. This Research Topic aims to demonstrate that the adaptive and ecological dimensions of bounded rationality can be better analyzed by assuming an embodied cognition perspective. Several of the articles in this Research Topic consider how embodied-enactive models of cognition, and the notion of embodied rationality, compare with Herbert Simon’s bounded rationality.

This initiative uses various GPS locations to locate stolen or lost phones. After installation, the program will run in the background. The unique user id and password, SIM number, backup phone number, email address, WhatsApp number, and present location of the phone are all stored in this application. When a phone is lost or stolen, the user receives images taken by the front camera, a GPS location on a different phone number, and an email address. With the help of this information, we can quickly identify the phone and the person who has stolen it using the intruder selfie feature in the app.
