Our Commitment

Climate change and pollution present some of the world’s greatest challenges today. As a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), the transport and logistics sector has a crucial role to play in addressing this issue.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and are proud to offer a green courier service designed to minimise our ecological footprint. By prioritising sustainability, we aim to improve our customer service while enhancing air quality for our couriers working in busy urban environments.

We are actively collaborating with Transport for London (TfL) and local communities to explore how initiatives like cargo bike parking hubs can help promote zero-emission transport solutions. In addition, we work closely with businesses to consolidate deliveries, reduce road time, minimise unnecessary mileage, and cut down on GHG emissions. Our goal is to provide the most environmentally responsible delivery service, ensuring that the right vehicle is used for the right package at the right time, leading to the least possible environmental impact.

Abetta has set an ambitious target to become carbon neutral by 2030.

How Does Abetta Green International Work?

The process begins with us collecting your parcels using 100% carbon-neutral vehicles, such as a Pedal-Assist Van or an E-Cargo Bike. We then collaborate with our international partners to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions generated during the handling and transportation of your shipments using verified measurement methods. To offset these emissions, we purchase “Gold Standard” traceable carbon credits from recognised climate protection projects, ensuring complete compensation for the emissions produced.

By choosing this service, you can label your shipments as climate-neutral and receive an annual certificate detailing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions you have offset.
