Program: Follow the music | The Incurable romantics

Space to play or pause, M to mute, left and right arrows to seek, up and down arrows for volume.

The Cure is one of the most influential post-punk bands of the 1980s. And unsurprisingly, it has a legion of loyal fans, many of them over 50.  Arusha’s loved The Cure since she was a teenager and has been to over 100 concerts.  Deanne has a cute tattoo on her leg – a fusion of frontman Robert Smith and Betty Boop.  Judy writes raunchy fan fiction, because well, it’s fun!

Meet these The Incurable Romantics, older women who are fans of The Cure. They talk about the music, being on tour with the band and their artwork.

Guests:

Arusha Baker, Deanne Kernke, Debbie Milano, Beth, Judy aka voodoo_smile, Anwen Crawford

Producer – Masako Fukui
