There has been plenty of debate about the viability of nuclear power stations operating in Queensland, and the push for investment into renewable energy continues to be a top priority for federal and state governments.
Later this year, waste management and energy services company Veolia expects to open Australia's first two plants converting waste to energy, to assist with the ongoing needs of the industry.
