German supermarket Aldi has been named Australians' favourite place to buy fresh produce once again, according to a Canstar Blue survey.
The supermarket topped Coles and Woolworths for overall customer satisfaction for the fourth year running, the survey results show.
Aldi also won five stars from consumers for its value for money and the freshness of its produce.
The Canstar Blue survey asked 2500 Australias about their shopping habits and preferences.
IGA came in second overall, also beating Coles and Woolworths.
Woolworths, IGA and Coles all beat out Aldi in terms of presentation and variety.
Yet many consumers said they didn't mind a shop's layout or it having fewer options if it meant saving money.
"Nearly half of Australians have changed their shopping behaviour and we're seeing consumers freshness of fruit and vege but at a reasonable price," Canstar Blue chief executive Megan Doyle said.

Shoppers are also making other conscious choices to save money at the supermarket, she said.
"They're actually buying less they're choosing some frozen options and they're also buying the ugly products."
One in five Aussies are even growing their own fruit and vegetables at home to save a bit of money.
