YORK, Neb. (KOLN) - An argument that boiled over at a York motel ended with a woman charged with second-degree assault.

According to a court document, the assault took place at the Super 8 Motel just off of I-80 in York on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. A man who worked at the motel told deputies that 29-year-old Destiny Miller, a supervisor, got into an argument with him over payments. Deputies wrote that’s when she hit him with a lamp in the room.

After the investigation wrapped up, Miller was arrested.

Her bond was set at 10% of $25,000 which was filed this week.

She’s expected back in York County Court on July 10.
