Local Chapters

We organise regular get-togethers, from drinks and dinners to meetups and all sorts of group activities to build local connections among our community. All are run at cost. We coordinate these via local WhatsApp groups where we share invitations. To join a local group, you need to be in the VOYAGERS Climate-Tech or Health-Tech communities, or have participated in a VOYAGERS adventure.

Our local chapter leads

VOYAGERS also has the privilege to rely on a team of dedicated local ambassadors who help us with ongoing activities. They act as main point of contact in local cities both for existing VOYAGERS or prospective ones, help us coordinate local get-togethers and share feedback with us on how we can keep improving member experience.

Ariadna Masó
Founder, SANNO

Ariadna Masó is the founder of SANNO, the platform to access patients with chronic conditions and retain them throughout treatment or clinical research for better datasets and assessments. SANNO is featured as top #25 healthtech startup to watch by Founders Forum Group in 2023.

As a result of her chronic gut condition, Ariadna studied Nutrition Science and earned a certification from Stanford School of Medicine in 2020. Prior to this, she spent 9 years working with private equity firms in London.

In 2017, Ariadna was featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list in Europe for her career in finance and entrepreneurship. In 2010, she founded CEMS Entrepreneurs. Ariadna holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from ESADE Business School and the CEMS Master’s degree from HEC Paris School of Management.

Paula has more than 20′ years experience having worked with organisations of all sizes, including start ups and scale ups around the world. She also serves as a valuable resource for non-profit organizations in health, education, and social welfare, as well as a mentor for professionals from various backgrounds.
She’s passionate about advancing gender parity in leadership positions and is a Director on the Global Board of Directors of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.

Edo Perry is a ClimaTech entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Elements, the employee climate engagement platform that helps reduce employees’ scope 3 emissions and utility bills through personalized energy usage analysis and actionable solutions. In addition he founded a community of 1,500 people looking to find their next job in Climatech in Israel. Edo lived in Silicon Valley for over 15 years and has since lived in Israel since 2010. He previously worked at Apple as a Project manager in the environmental field and served as an officer for 6 years in the Israel Intelligence Division. In addition, he writes & lectures about the climate crisis and climate-tech innovations and is a mentor at the Reichman University – Greenbiz (Climate Entrepreneurship club

Oliver Yorke

Oliver has consistently embraced the goal of positively impacting society throughout his personal and professional journey. After commencing his career at BlackRock and Deloitte, he felt an unwavering desire to contribute to the betterment of our planet. This inner calling drove him to immerse himself in startup innovation, working for several startups and as a startup consultant for over 7 years with strategic and private equity/public fundraising activities in Barcelona and Copenhagen.

Fuelled by his passion for climate tech, Oliver is now a partnership manager at Startup Basecamp. This prominent global climate tech ecosystem empowers founders with essential capital access and heightened commercial visibility through several initiatives. Leveraging his background in startup innovation, he also supports and mentors pioneering climate tech startups, aiding them in achieving growth and scalability.

Shwen Gwee
Digital Health and Corporate Innovation Executive

Shwen is a recognized pioneer in digital health and corporate innovation, as well as an industry thought-leader who was named a Top 40 “Healthcare Transformer” by MM&M, a PR Week “Health Influencer 50”, a Constellation Research “Business Transformation 150” and was listed on Medika’s “Fifty of the Most Influential Voices in Healthcare for 2021”.

Shwen brings 20 years of experience leading digital strategy and driving innovation in the biopharmaceutical industry, across commercial, clinical, and enterprise-wide functions, both on the client-side and at leading creative agencies. He is often featured in industry publications and speaks regularly at industry events.

Shwen is a startup investor, advisor and mentor and he also consults on Strategy and Innovation for both startups and corporations. He sits on various advisory boards, including: Google (Healthcare), SXSW (Health), MM&M Healthcare Transformers, PharmStars, Calmsie, AcceXible, Unison, New Enterprise Ventures, GRYT Health and the Digital Health Coalition.Shwen has also been very involved in the health tech startup ecosystem over the last 12 years and organizes startup events and pitch competitions annually; he also plays a role in advising and running healthcare hackathons around the world as part of the MIT Hacking Medicine team.

John Klepper

Hi there! I’m 1/2 French 1/2 U.S. Living in Zurich now. My career started off in creative industries then gravitated towards technology driven social enterprise and healthcare.

For the last 18 years I’ve been trying to push boundaries in tech, building teams, delivering products and spear-heading growth. I love supporting fellow entrepreneurs where I can and give back, having received so much support myself over the years.

Novel, transformational approaches in healthcare which can improve brain health has been my focus in recent years, and the opportunity to impact people’s lives is very exciting. Currently building a startup focused in neurocognitive disorders where we deliver AI-based models for early prediction and targeted intervention, starting with delirium.

Alex Murray
Co-Founder and Managing Director, FLIT

Alex is the Managing Director and co-founder of FLIT, a Cambridge-based startup developing lightweight folding ebikes for urban commuters.

After an early career with OC&C Strategy Consultants in London, where he worked on corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions for clients across sectors from retail to tech, Alex moved to Beijing. There, he completed a master’s degree in public policy, with a particular interest in the electrification of transport, and learnt some Mandarin.

Since moving back to Cambridge he has been building FLIT and working on bringing together a community of cleantech founders targeting some of the biggest problems facing the climate.

Qualified from Imperial College and worked in the NHS before returning to Singapore where I worked in the public, private, NGO and government sectors before moving into clinical AI. I’m a primary care physician by training with a special interest in personalized nutrition, occupational & digital health. Just prior to joining AWS, I was the Global Medical Director for Ubie.

Louiza Chitour
Director, Plug and Play Middle East

Louiza has accumulated more than a decade of experience in the Pharma/BioTech/Healthcare sector through her academic journey as well as professional journey in Algeria, China and now the Middle East.

She is a published author in the field as well as a seasoned professional who led the growth of the health division of a large French Multinational across the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Turkey.

In 2020, she joined Plug and Play, a world leading accelerator and early stage VC as one of the first team members for their Middle East operations.

Finally, as an active angel investor, she took part in the launch of the 2022 Female Angels initiative in the UAE as well as launched the FoundHER chapter in the Middle East designed to support female founders.
