🎊 The Successful OFB Vietnam Preview event ✨ On 29 July 2024, we successfully coordinated the Research Preview: The Economic Case for LGBTQ+ Inclusion in Southeast Asia. This event brought together influential leaders and industry experts to explore the research results, compelling link between LGBTQ+ inclusion and economic prosperity. The event proudly welcomed esteemed guest speakers: 🔹 Alexandra Smith - British Consul General in HCMC 🔹 Warrick Cleine - Chairman and CEO, KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia  🔹 Michele W. - CEO, Standard Chartered Vietnam  🔹 Linh Ngo - Executive Director, ICS Center The leaders emphasized the importance of integrating inclusion into business strategy and the significance of the research's support for these efforts. They also highlighted how businesses can be valuable advocates for LGBTQ+ communities in Vietnam. During the preview, Open For Business shared key finding of research: LGBTQ+ transparent companies are more profitable. Through economic cases, the research underscored the impact of supporting LGBTQ+ equality, both in terms of individual, business, and economic performance. 🏳🌈 Pride Summit 2024: Fostering Inclusion, Diversity and Equity in Vietnam On 12 July 2024, Vietnam Corporate Pride Network (VCPN) and KPMG Vietnam organized the Pride Summit 2024, a collaborative effort with British Consulate – General in Ho Chi Minh (UK in Viet Nam), ACCA Mainland SEA, ICS Center - Equal rights for LGBTQ+ people in Vietnam, PITO - A new way to order Food at Work, International SOS. Centered around the theme "Meet the IDE Champions," the event brought together diverse voices to share challenges and successes in fostering Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) within the workplace. The event started with a welcome speech by Tran Thu Hang, Chief People and Culture Officer at Sun Life, as the venue sponsor. Warrick Cleine, Chairman and CEO, KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia, delivered an opening speech emphasizing the critical role of IDE culture in organizational success and VCPN’s mission to grow and inspire new generations.
